tia why on earth do you need a tail?! i'm forever standing on the cats and thinking he would probably be better off without one :rotfl:
Do dishes with my hands and hold Amber with the tail. Or hold Amber with one arm, wipe DS2's nose with the other and clean up the mess DS1 made with the tail. Just so many uses.0 -
Because I want a night in on my own. If I'd wanted my work friend round, I'd have asked her myself - don't need OH arranging visitors for me
I understand that hun! DH arranges people to visit me when he is away. I can drive to them if I want to see them but usually I just like the tv remote to myself for a change.0 -

Hi all,
Thanks for asking how today went
On balance, I'm not sure really. He was very concilliatory in tone and I feel more important, but as I reflected on it, he hasn't really given any ground :rotfl:. What a skillful manager. Still, I felt like he listened, which meant a lot.
One thing I did realise was that this horrid situation did make me look hard at our finances and cancel some over-cautious insurances we were sold by an IFA a few years ago. That plus a few other scrimps has saved us about £200 a month, so I'm pretty pleased
Sugarspun, I'm glad your mum is with you helping, although it sounds very tricky at times. I also laughed out loud about the nappy cream :rotfl:
Elle, yay for rhys weight gain. Have you been managing any of that yourself at all, I know you were a little troubled your BMI had dropped a bit, and I'd been meaning to ask whether your diligent baking had helped. Also yay! for top secret work opportunity. How funny you can't tell OH. are you James Bond?
Searchie, yay again for driving lesson :T:T:T:T xxxx
3 sorry to hear about the attitude problemit must be very sad and frustrating.
Fitz, I may have been a bit excessive in the travel cot list, Fergie sleeps permanently in his, so I think that makes me a bit stricter on what I want IYSWIM?
MFD, glad benjamin had a good time. Please let us know when you'll be on telly?:D
Tigs, I told my OH about how the documentary makers meaning you had an extra 29 week scan saved Andrew's life. We were both very moved and moist-eyed about it, and so so glad. Happy home day Andrew xxx

Leave it on em, but I take it off the last 30mins.
My boys are down at the play park where DH and Neighbours bonfire has attracted a good number of locals and their children, so sparklers, fireworks and bonfire galore. Mac'n'cheese in the oven on low to keep warm for when they are in, Amber has finally stopped screaming and is asleep so...
:j:j:jPEACE!!!:j:j:j for me0 -
hurrah for peace tia!! my string will remain on my beef then
weezl, glad it went well, or at least it seemed to on the surface. managers have a habit of getting you to think they've done you a favour before you realise they actually havent dont they!
right i really am off to leave the string on my beef this time, back later!Mummy to
