are there any good shops near it?
I've just opened my m&p parcel and Edgar's bauble is in about 10 pieces :( I sort of put it together and it looks gorgeous - wish I'd got Chris's from there too now

    Hello Mrs B!

No, there isn't one by me. The only ones I know of are New Mersey Retail Park in Speke and a new one at Liverpool One. Can't believe they didn't wrap it properly!! Think a strongly worded email may be in order ;).

  • matthew is back to his birth weight of 5lb 4oz today!!! He had taken a dip to a scary 4lb 15 oz so hopefully the weight gain will continue and someday soon some newborn clothes will fit him!!
I am thinking I may need to get my bloods checked as my hb was 9.1 when I left hospital and I am still bleeding TMI bright red blood almost 2 weeks later and constantly feeling really cold. Does anyone know if that is normal following a c section, had dd by section 11 years ago so the memory is a bit fuzzy.
I have a grobag for matthew but I am scared to put him in it as he is soooo tiny. His hands are always really cold as well but he bites the scratch mitts off so he can stuff his whole hand in his mouth to suck, may have to investigate these babygros with built in mitts lol.
    Coming soon............

Brand new baby boy (Matthew) born 3 weeks early weighing a diddly 5lb 4 oz!!

Wow, a busy day all round!

Weezl, hope your work talk went ok?

Elle, glad your work talk went ok and hurray for Rhys!

    MM, happy birthday Jasmine!

3, I'd cancel Wolverhampton and stand over her while she tells her teammates why she's not allowed to go. But I'm a mean mama...

    Tigs, are you home yet?!

SB, call them and give them a mouthful! Baubles should be properly packaged.

SM, how was your driving lesson?

Em, how annoying! She's got you there though :( Hopefully it all gets sorted soon.

Molly's been asleep or whinging all day after the second round of injections. She now weighs 6kg (13lbs!!) exactly, and the doctor told me she's FAT!!!! He gave me all this rude advice about only feeding her more than three hours after the end of the last feed and just letting her cry.

She's exclusively breastfed, and when she isn't hungry she's not shy about pulling off the boob and refusing it when it's offered again. Plus I checked the WHO weight guidelines I have bookmarked, and she's only 100g above the 50th percentile, which is where she started, and she's 8cm longer than when she was born. I think the doctor's full of poop, and will not be stopping feeding on demand purely because he thinks she should stay precisely on the percentile line she started on. But I'm so angry that he could tell me a 3 month old is overweight?!!!!!!!!!

Monster shouting herself awake. Back to the lair. Poor little one is so miserable. And my mother is perpetually filling Molly's, um, ladygarden with nappy rash cream, like right up in there as though she was one of those creamy buns

She's also saying "God bless" and "God love her" to Molly all the time, disregarding that this is a heathen household. I am not too pleased although so incredibly grateful for the help.

  • thanks searching did not know that about the grobags have a bit of a whille to wait then lol!! Will just have to persevere with replacing blankets every five minutes or so. He hates being swaddled cos he can't get at his hands so that is not an option either. Have a docs appointment for monday have to get bp check to see whether he wants me to stop meds so will sort the bloods then.

DD1 is still being a horror - but if I make her miss the fireworks as punishment, we all miss out!

We had her parents evening last night. Every parents evening until now has been wonderful! Last night I was told my DD has 'attitude' (No !!!!!! sherlock) and quite often when asked to do something, says 'I can't', then sits back and pulls the attitude face!

I'm not sure what to do with her - she's always had her brat moments, but this one has lasted about two weeks at home - and seems to be continuing in school.

Does anyone want a 9 year old?

James is 10 and he's just as bad.

The other night he'd set the table and when we sat down to eat I noticed his hands were thick of mud! In a calm voice I said "aw James, you should have washed your hands before eating" and he went off on a right rant about how I'm always picking on him and I bully him - yada yada yada

Charlotte tells him off for being naughty and he goes crackers when I point that he should feel embarrassed that a 2 year old has a better understanding of good behaviour than him!

Hopefully it's just a phase as Joshua did the same then grew out of it.
Here I go again on my own....

swaddle him with his hands free ;):D

The rerason they need to be 7lb ish for sleeping bags is when they're small they gan slip down inside them.

I don't like the fold over sleeves coz their hand stay wet and therefore cold when they've sucked on them :)
