  • Hi all - just a quickie whilst Benjamin recovers from his exciting morning! He waved me off and then turned away to see what the girls were up to without a backward glance!!

CM says he was a very good baby, didn't cry at all, giggled and played and drank nearly all of his bottle. He was asleep when I got there looking too cute when mummy can't have a cuddle!!

My filming was fine - I think - the cameraman was running late so I did it in 1 take, said 'do you think that is okay?' and he said it was good so I ran away to collect Benjamin!!! When I finished I did a little silly grin and 'yeah' noise so I reckon that might end up in the outtakes

SM - good luck with the driving lesson.

Tigs - OMG - I can't believe you get your baby home today!! Have a wonderful day :)

    Happy Birthday Jas

Weezl - hope your chat goes okay today (((HUGS))) hun.

    I know I missed stuff :o

Is anyone going to see fireworks tonight? I'm not sure what
we're doing yet. OH is in work til 8. DD1 is still being a horror - but if I make her miss the fireworks as punishment, we all miss out!

We had her parents evening last night. Every parents evening until now has been wonderful! Last night I was told my DD has 'attitude' (No !!!!!! sherlock) and quite often when asked to do something, says 'I can't', then sits back and pulls the attitude face!

I'm not sure what to do with her - she's always had her brat moments, but this one has lasted about two weeks at home - and seems to be continuing in school.

Does anyone want a 9 year old?

Oh dear! We are getting a bit of tutting ATM from DSS (also 9) but his dad would go mad if DSS tried this, is it in school she is doing it??

She isn't struggling with the work is she? Seems to me it would take a pretty brave 9 year old to back-chat a teacher like that....

Edit: I don't even want to suggest it but I would be talking about cancelling her Wolverhampton trip, or stopping her going to dancing until she shapes up.

I'd be harsher in the txt personally. I'd say: Can you let me know what's going on with the kitten please? I want to collect him ASAP to get him settled before I start working p/t on 16th. If you have changed your mind it's ok, I just want to kno so I can start looking elsewhere if necessary

the nose thing was on a general email about discounts. I'm temped to get int actually coz OH always has sinus probs, never know it might work :p

hey i was just wondering if you still want me to take the little fella? if so i hope to asap, by sunday really, that gives a week for them to settle together before i go back to work. its only part time but if they're not settled he's going to be locked up while i'm out and its not fair really. thanks
i dont know about disciplining 9 year olds obviously, but i think what MFD said is good. she will probably strop around over it, just stand your ground!!

No thanks, got one just like it and I hate to say it but this is just the beginning. Mine, also 9, is showing all the signs of puberty and we have horrendous days. Pick your punishments wisely though as there is no point making a completely miserable life where nothing nice ever happens because just makes it worse. For anyone who has a girl with a strong personality, these years can be hell! Usually calms down after 3-4yrs of it.

I'd say I'm really sorry to hear that, I hope you're holding up ok?
I wasn't saying you're rude, I'm just eager to get my hands on the cute fluffy one now he's old enough.
