Just a quickie.. my chunky monkey is now 9lb 9oz! Gained 9oz in a week!
:j
Yay :j how much of that 9oz was fromage frais???
We had a lovely afternoon at Booby Club and then Asda for a few bits and pieces.
Today is the 4th Anniversary of my first date with hubby :happyhear and he has gone away for the night on a work [STRIKE]p!ssup[/STRIKE] teambuilding event
Still, it means I get a night to myself, which I am looking forward to! Benjamin went to bed at 6.30pm because he was shattered. I would normally keep him awake for a while but I am convinced he will be woken up by the fireworks at some point this evening so an extra half hour or so won't hurt.
Elle - I guess there are not many exclusive BF'ers out there so having a supporter who has been in that position would be of great benefit IYSWIM.please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Oh, snap! Except Rhys hasn't made it to bed yet - he's sparko on my shoulder!Going to try him in his crib soon, but again am convinced fireworks will wake him up

I guess so.. Wouldn't mind being called upon for that, just couldn't do the whole role - although I think we're getting positioning right when we do BF.. I think!

Elle, perhaps she had a more specific role for you in mind. Supporting mums with babies in NICU or who have to express rather than feed direct. There are probably not many supporters who have had that experience and a regular supporter just can't cut it.
Peace gone now, Amber is awake and crabbit.0 -

You could do a lot to support mums of preemies (sp?) though.
SM - buy some cheap plimpsols!! Or drive in slippers! I used to drive in dance shoesplease listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

Oh, hadn't thought of that.. It would have been nice to have someone to chat to about it, can't deny that. Even the midwife in charge of BFing support didn't have much knowledge about exclusive expressing.. (not that I have, just have the "been there done that - panicking my !!!! off!" experience)
