It's better to come out and make it known cos people don't tend to notice unless it's pointed out. Think if NMS had said something sooner she wouldn't have felt the need to leave in the end.

I said something the other night in response to someone else, but I had issues at home, so usually I may not have entertained the conversation.

It's sad people feel they need to leave though. Messageboards will always have those who type more than others and people who bond more and it's not easy for any newbie coming in. I'm still getting to know people, their boundaries and attitudes and it will continue. We are all different in real life anyway and things can be misinterpereted. For example, in life i'm incredibly overprotective of my loved ones and seen as very militant to others, both looking and personality.

I hope those who are missing come back, because they belong here as much as anyone else, regardless of how many posts they make or how many thanks they give or get.
i think i over talk and its never normally useful .. im suprised you dont tell me to shhh :D x

    Shhhhhhh ;)

Yeah I know, easy response to give.

I'll try and post later and go back to page 662. Crazy here at the moment and someone needs a hug before they bathe ;)

Tbh after my sister had 2 prems (32 & then 30 wks) i always said i wouldn't dream of complaining about going overdue, cos i was at least just grateful for not going through the whole scbu thing. I think if it wasn't so close to Xmas she could happily stay in there but now my worry is about being induced. If that happens it's gonna ruin the whole experience for me. I've had a textbook pregnancy so to get induced after me being convinced i'd go earlyish i'd be gutted :(

DD was induced at 38wks cos of Eclampsia, I was convinced I'd get it agin and the wee man would be early! I was heartbroken to go T+14!!!!!
I went into natural labour 16hrs before I was due to be induced so even making the appointment doesn't mean you'll keep it lol
Only my opinion, but I would never refuse induction. I couldn't cope with anything going wrong inside after refusing when the baby would have been safe out.

ETA: I never felt like anything was going to happen, right to the end.
  • SM, I was just checking back there, it took 6 days for Glams fairy post to arrive, royal mail dont seem to like my post !! Hope you get it soon

I know it's easy to say, but as csh said there is no point worrying yourself about it yet. You've got 11 days for things to kick off, and from what you've said about your labour with DS it could all happen pretty quickly for you.

Tbh when it came to it I was desperate for them to induce as I just wanted to meet my baby, and he was worth every single second of it!

I totally agree with this and would be the same, but I appreciate that everyone has to do what is right for them at the time.
