Cream or green? Or a metallic coloured shawl instead?Buttonmoons wrote: »Yeah it IS a nice dress, but I am just finding it IMPOSSIBLE to find something to wear with it, I NEED something to cover my grotesque arms but I can't even begin to fathom what sort of colour would work with that dress, what is it? Phew, they leave tomorrow. Tonight I'm going to go through all these clothes my uncle sent for Molly and separate out whatever's seasonally inappropriate for sizes (we've a 9-12 month snowsuit here but it'll be May-Augustish when Molly's that big :rotfl:) and sell it. Then I'll repack their suitcase with stuff for sending back there. We're making a big pot of chili tomorrow for people coming over - must also do some cleaning.
I'm very excited - I saw a learn and grow thing on ebay last week for a tenner and forgot to bid. It ended with no bids and was relisted for a fiver - and I won it for £5!!!!!Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Not hanging around... Was only on the computer to make up a fake facebook profile so I can see what people see when they search for me... In light of yesterdays developments I don't want anyone popping up out of the woodwork...
:hello: everyone I'm not ignoring

to be fair I have the money sat in my savings, it's leftover Wedding/Edgar fund so hubby can't really complain, he spends loads without consulting me, if it weren't for claiming tax credits I'd have know idea how much he earns

I spent way too much in H&M today- they had a really good sale on. One shirt has to go back as it won't fit over my big BFing boobies, but got another shirt dress and two jumpers...oops!:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator

I called his bluff today, he was trying to put the guilt on me saying i'm taking his son away etc and that he wanted him, so I said ok then come and get him we can have him 3.5 days a week each, ten mins later all of a sudden something has come up and he cant have Ryan :j Baby boy Number 2, arrived 12th April 2009!:j0 -

Pinkpig - What a fab picture of Caitlyn I can't wait until Christmas morning to get the jumperoo out
Sami - Chris' comment is too cute for words
Glam - re the OJ we were advised to give her 1 teaspoon of pure OJ (the good one, not concentrate) in about 3-4oz of cooled boiled water. Trust me only needed to do it a couple of times and it more than did the trick
Clare - I think you've done amazingly well by keeping going this long and with PND - Huge HUGS for you
Well as for us it was Evie's christening on Sunday and we all had a fantastic day and I have to admit she was the perfect baby all day long. Loads of people in the church came up and said how lovely it was that she was wearing a traditional dress (what else do they wear?) and so many people said they'd never been to a christening where the baby didn't cry. All in all it was a lovely day and it was really good to see people who had traveled to see us all

Hi all.
I see its quiet. I've been back and catching up but SIL has just messaged me asking if I know anyone for or against having swine flu jab whilst preg. Does anyone have any experience? opinions? facts or latest research?
Thanks for anything you can share, I'll get to this page in a mo, not too far behind now. Bit of a day of it, Kezia finally got her first jabs this morning, more tears from me than her. Why do I seem to cry at everything at the mo???
xxxCross Stitch Challenge member 11 - May challenge well under way

Morning Ladies.
There was some info about swine flu posted to a yahoo group I subscribe to and thought I'd pass it on in case it's of use to any of you are unsure about whether to get the jab or not...
Swine flu is supposed to be specifically more dangerous for pregnant women, and young people in general, and there is more of it around too. The Dept of Health's circular to GPs is quite well referenced and you can find it here:
http://www.dh. gov.uk/prod_ consum_dh/ groups/dh_ digitalassets/ documents/ digitalasset/ dh_107825. pdf
Some other sources: the RCOG statement published in The Lancet claimed that:
"Findings show that pregnant women are four times more likely to be hospitalised when they have H1N1v flu when compared to the general population."

And this page might be useful - NHS list of documents regarding swine flu and pregnancy, including on antivirals and immunisations:

There has also been another link posted since that may be scary http://articles. mercola.com/ sites/articles/ archive/2009/ 11/28/Shocking- Swine-Flu- Vaccine-Miscarri age-Stories. aspx0
