    Afternoon all..

We're back from work. Had a fab time, everyone thought Rhys looked very cute in his Santa's Little Helper outfit ;) We walked up a very long corridor to show Rhys off but he was asleep by the time we got to the end of it so everyone just had to see him asleep. I left him in his car seat for a while in my old office while he snoozed and I talked to colleagues.

Am going in for a morning/afternoon to talk properly and see potential new boss in January, then I decide which job I want, then we'll set up my KIT days.

Just waiting to see if Rhys will go off to sleep again then I can make some phonecalls..

I gave up after an hour and a half of trying to get Benjamin off and he is now blowing raspberries at me over the monitor

I get this every time I have a day at home with him. After a while I just lay on the bed cuddling him and he was happy as larry but refused to close his eyes.

Glad the work visit went well. Is the other job still on the cards?

.. Glad the work visit went well. Is the other job still on the cards?

The request to recruit has gone in, still waiting for authorisation. If they get it, then they'll get me the job description, me and the potential new boss will have a chat and then I can decide whether I want it or not. They still seem totally open to the idea that I go back to job sharing my old job though - happy for me to go through finding out about the new one then flitting back to the old one anyway! :o I'm still undecided.. Don't feel like I've done all I could in my old job yet - you know the feeling when you want to look for a new job? Well I haven't got that; still love my old job (just not my boss ). Do I want the comfort of my old job (and already knowing the bad sides of it) or do I want the challenge of a new job (and risking not liking it)?

ETA: Whoo.. might have a sleeping baby! He's still in that 'could be woken by the slightest noise' stage though.. best not move for a while!
  • I've decided to stop breastfeeding, had enough of being daisy! So as of yesterday we are onto formula milk instead - just got the joy of the milk drying up! I wanted to get my body back and not worrying all the time about me leaking/feeling full etc

So before I start gumtree/ebaying bits I thought I see if anyone wanted to purchase a few bits:
Medula swing electric breast pump with 3 5oz bottles (2 with teats)
Tommy tippie closer to nature manual breast pump
3 Royce nursing bras all used but life left in them (2x38H 1x40J)
A few boxes of 50 closer to nature breast pads
Lansolin (sp?) breastmilk freezable storage bags - about 20 still in the box

I've also started to accept help and deal with the pnd I've been suffering with for the last 6months. I need to find work to make me feel more useful to my family and also to be more socialable and meet new people rather than the walls closing in on me at home.

SB hope you've all recovered from you're ambulance ride, amazing service yet all scary at the same time!

Was more I was going to say but forgotten and had to skip a few pages so hi and hugs to all

I'm not sure what the cheapest contract is but I'm sure it's cheaper than buying it in the long run, I'm getting the 3gs 16g thought I'd get it before VAT goes up in Jan:cool: got £15 cashback through quidco on it too

New webby is here! :j looks good, I got a lush purple case for it too (not sure why coz my old one has only left the house about 5 times)

Claire I'll take the pads off you if the postage doesn't work out silly
Welldone you for BFing so long :T
