Do you know the times etc SM? Don't want to undercook it, If i threw it in the SC now on low, would it be ready to turn off at about 10 in the morning? Do I need to add liquid? Was thinking of just putting a pint of chicken stock in with it?

Bruno: Hope its nothing too serious? Hugs for baby E

Thanks csh; hopefully not, don't really know, thought it was 'just' teething at first but his temp has gone up and up and he's seemed really miserable and unwell all afternoon and evening, and overall much more fever and more intense than his normal teething signs. Anyway for now just comforting him every time he wakes crying and mopping his sweat and drool a bit and then waiting til the next. No other symptoms bar being so hot, will wait til morning before doing anything further than that.

Still keeping up with the thread though! Can anyone go find Caz, and SusanC? I worry! :( especially about Caz who was going through a hard time when we last heard.

i know u asked SM, but i cook my chicken like this at least once a week.
u need absoloutely no stock or any other liquid at all as it leaks out its own.
i keep mine on for between 6-9 hours, so i wouldnt put it in until u were going to bed.
you can brown it a bit first in a pan (or not - ive done it both ways and still tastes fine)
Sometimes ill throw some carrots, onion and other veg in the bottom if im gonna use the stock it produces as gravy ust to give it a bit of taste!?

    sorry for butting in..:o
