Been talking to OH about presents for his family.. finally got some ideas out of his sister so I've got more ordering to do now. First suggestion for BIL was a selection box from Hotel Chocolat... I am not spending £20 on chocolate for a 4yo to pinch, FGS! More sensible suggestion was a flask (he's a lorry driver) so that and something small from HC, methinks! One of the SCBU nurses has recently had a book published on a subject SIL is very into so well have to see if I can arrange a signed copy ;)

Still need ideas for OH!! :o

Rhys is asleep on the other sofa.. :o

Help me! My face is on fire!!

Well, kinda! We made nandos chicken wrap in pita tonight for tea. Marinaded the chicken breasts in hot peri peri marinade, added salad and mayo in the pita breads. Then I added EXTRA HOT peri sauce as it wasn't spicy enough cause cooking takes a bit off.

    OHMYGOD!!

Was yummy though, had it with wedges coleslaw and potato salad and lots of ranch style salad.

I drank 4 cans of diet coke to cool my mouth down whilst eating, my nose is streaming, Ok I have a cold but it's not because of that!

My dad is a driver too and i got him a flask last year one of the tiny ones, not because it was cheaper but because the size meant he couldn't go nuts with the coffee resulting in crossed legs till the next stop, plus it was good in the cold weather for water, mum would give him cuppa soups to make.lol

    slips back to lurking......

You can get a Stanley wide neck flask to keep actual food warm rather than liquid. Your mum could make him stovies in the winter for his lunch.:j
