Em - I left Benjamin crying last night because I had left the monitor on mute :rotfl:

He finally went down tonight at about 9.00pm :eek: and I have been up to him twice since then. Why does it have to be on a school night? I was supposed to be wrapping gifts and ironing this evening (again ) and I have done b00ger all!

Well actually I did have half an hour on the phone to my mum who tells me that she has informed my brother that he is invited to ours on Boxing Day :rolleyes: Need to speak to brother but that will mean I have DH family on Xmas Eve, MIL and then my parents on Xmas Day, then my parents and my brother and family on Boxing Day - relaxing Christmas for me then :rolleyes:

Ah well - at least I won't be carting the baby around!!

haha I know I get all the period and girl stuff home here as well Most here have been welcoming towards me, although I still have to sit through the men jibes, although I know some are jokes and being a single father means I get looked down upon - not neccesarily by anyone here, but in life.

I'm a bit sensitive tonight, just a bit sad and as per usual, have nothing useful to add :rolleyes:

I know some of you have older kids, but I just meant those that do, also have younger ones. I'm not much use to anyone on here as mine are all grown up in comparison and I have different attributes being male - I couldn't breastfeed for example and nobody is really interested in my girls as they aren't babies - not that i'm asking for interest, just I can't talk to anyone about anything they may know about.

That doesn't make sense and I am oversenstitive tonight, which is so not MOTM :rolleyes:

I think i'll leave before I lose the last bit of self respect I have :rotfl:

I'm not allowed to call Tara old as it would be ungentlemanly

She's ok, consultant next week. We've been delivering cards and pressies today, my sister, then brother, then was supposed to be my mum but even though was pre-arranged and an hours drive she rang SIL to tell me she was too busy! :mad:

I don't know about comended. You know the comments that get made about single parents. I don't ask for pats on the back, I just do my best. I just hope it's enough.
