And talking of noisy hubby's... Mine's playing left 4 dead 2 on the xbox... The machine gun fire just woke Caitlyn in her swing... But she settled back off again...
Incidentally... She usually goes to bed about 9... Any earlier and she doesn't settle... Or Hubby doesn't get chance to spend much time with her when he's on a late... Only tonight I wanted to watch Gavin and Stacey so she's sleeping in the swing lol...
What is it with men & computers?

You either choose to fight with them all day every day, or you learn to just let a few things slide every now and then
I did say I was victorian mum!!
I think we bargain with our kids too much now - all of us - me included!! There shouldn't be any fighting in it. When we were kids rules were rules and backchat was not allowed. You just did what you were told. Well that is the way it was in my house anyway. And that is the way I will bring my poor, downtrodden boy up! He will behave or he will not be given anything nice to do.
In every way other than this DSS knows the rules and is never naughty. We haven't ever raised a voice in this house and don't intend to do so. DSS is beginning to test his boundaries a little but a quiet word about what is appropriate and acceptable is all that is needed.
And I also said that you can laugh at me in a few years time!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

I don't mind paying for stuff, just got no inspiration, I like the bags but do you think it'd be weird using a bag with a photo of 2 kids dressed as Elves on it in June? :undecided
ummm yes, and also in 2 or 3 years time when they look nothing like they do now, they wont be used then either

I like the principle MFD, I really do!!
, maybe I just dont have the energy to do it, but I think its more that I was brought up in a strict but free household in that I knew the rules, but it wasnt the end of the world if you overstepped the mark sometimes, and I think I turned out OK ( stop laughing) so I kinda do the same with Jasmine, but also I think shes a child and needs to make her own mistakes and make her own mind up sometimes, and I would hate it if anyone tried to force me to do anything I didnt want to !!
