:hello:
I'm good ta. Just fed Rhys his carrot and apple mush - doesn't like them alone but loves them mixed together  Seeing the dietitian tomorrow.. not sure what she's going to have to see as we've already seen one in Notts, but hey ho!
Was today the second day of your training course?
Yup - I behaved myself today though! I had to drop Benjamin off with his CM and hairtail it up the M6 rather than relaxing on the train
Still - it stopped me spending £14.50 on another pair of bical shoe-socks!!
Hubby had to stay in Plymouth for another night so I am all on my lonesome tonight again
Any joy in getting Rhys to bed earlier?please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -

He just kind of fell into it at about 12 weeksI don't really remember trying anything other than making sure we put him up to bed early evening (instead of keeping him downstairs where we kept disturbing him).
Rhys sleeps for long enough - you just need to shift the time!! Maybe if you wake him early and then put him down early one day it will just shock his system into complying
It will be strange for you and OH to have your evenings back!!
Edit - sorry, I answered the wrong question!! I had to just start to wake him in the morning - it did mostly stop him waking during the night though. And it means he naps longer during the day (in theory LOL!)please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
Yeah, he's sleeping 2am to 10am with maybe a bit extra either side, but not waking in the night now. He also sleeps on OH during the evening too, so he is getting the sleep, just not in his crib  I think the hardest thing will be separating Rhys from OH earlier..
Just midnight to 8am would be good but he has a last bottle between 12-1am and showing no signs of dropping it. I guess I just have to do as you say and wake him early one day to shock him. Starting tomorrow!0 -
elle, when I went back to work after Jasmine, I did it over 3 weeks and woke her up 15 mins earlier for 4 days, another 15 the next 4 days and so on until she was getting up at the time I needed her too, and this naturally progressed to her going to bed earlier at night
If only that had worked forever, my daughter has decided that she is going back to the I dont want to sleep stage and is still messing about upstairs tonight and has been shouted at about 5 times already tonight !!The two best things I have done with my life

He's gonna have to have a shock in the morning, but think we'll start this from Monday. Hopefully he'll be doing something more like 12-8am by the end of the month once he's in his room (plasterer dependent!)
This is him right now - asleep on my legs. I never sit like this (ankle on my other knee) and it's killing my leg! :cool:0
