scruffy, I'm really not sure as its not a normal infection, its bronchiolitis (sp?) so its viral and therefore could be contagious to younger kids. The more I think about it, the more I think I wont go, there are plenty of other santas to see as MFD says,......... she is a wise lady afterall !!

MM my nephew has that, he was in hospital yesterday cos of it, he'd turned almost blue at nursery cos he's struggling to breathe and sounds awful. He was born 10 weeks early and has always been rattly

edit, is it contagious?? I didn't know. he's on steroids even though my sis reckons he should be on antibiotics but doc disagrees

It really is nasty, Dylan was coughing soo much he was vomiting stomach acid and was struggling to get every breath, we had to stay overnight to get 6 nebulisers in him and is home with a double dose course of steroids !!

MM, I really wouldn't take him. Surely all those babies having hydro are compromised in some way health-wise and you wouldn't want someone else's poorly baby near your own (perfectly healthy and robust, or otherwise), would you? :cool:

Oh yeah, I forgot, Bronchitis is very contagious. thats a boo....

My Dad has it, but that's to do with smoking and some childhood illness.

I know, but you know the way when you have something planned you can become quite selfish ? I'm not going to take him, deep down I knew that I just wanted others to tell me Even if everyone else was fine, he is too sick to go outside, he just sleeps and coughs all day

Oh that's not good then, my sister has never mentioned that, she might get a bit funny if i say something, and i want to now cos obviously baby will be so tiny

MFD that pic is GREAT. you should run a silly competition (with family) over christmas and ask folk to put a caption to it the funniest/silliest one wins.
