Sami - where did you get that from? Is there a North West one? (I will be highly annoyed if Violet is on any list for 2009/2010).
I see Olivia is still up there . It wasn't on the lists I looked at in 1999/2000 when Liv was born - it was one of my name picking rules. However, its been up there in the top 3 ever since!
I was looking through the local papers [STRIKE]ugly[/STRIKE] beautiful baby
comp photos a while back and spotted lots and lots of Amelia's, Graces and Olivias. And one Violet - out of about 1000 babies!:beer:0 -

beeny - I'm not really planning on having any more (you can happily quote this back to me when you see me on the pg thread in later years!)
It'll happen;) . I said no more after 2 and my partner who had 5 said no more after 1.jillie1974 wrote: »names- is it bad that i have already chosen a name if we have another baby (well if its a girl that is). we realised on sat that all 3 of us have short first names- alll 4 letters, so that go me thinking that i really like that so have picked 2 girls names but not a boys one yet....better not tell DH this bit. although he is keen to have another child.
Not bad at all, although I made sure it went with surname and checked out all the ways each name could be shortened and that no-one we knew had the same name (as people often think you've named them after them, when you haven't!)
Gracie is Grace for short
Katherine is Kat
Carla is Carl - but doesn't get mistaken for a boy!
Maria is Ria
Hannah is Han
Abbie is Abs - Horrbile girl at school called her Scabby Abbie until she had enough and slapped her. Now she doesn't call her anything
Emily is usually Millie or Em
They always gets shortened down and they have to live through school with their names. My plan for the first few months is to list the ton of [STRIKE]crap[/STRIKE] lovely unused stuff in this house/loft on ebay. I plan to leave the earnings in my paypal to pay for next Christmas.
I've also considered setting up an ironing business - because i'm a bit strange and quite like ironing, and i'm very good at it!
Maybe studying to have a proper career?
The world is my lobster! :rotfl:
Well, it's a way to make money out of what you already have and don't need. Careful not to sell too much and get mistaken for a business seller, although if it's second hand, it shouldn't be an issue!
Would it be wise about leaving the earnings in Paypal? I've heard horror stories about accounts being locked and taking ages to release the money. I'm no expert though
As for the ironing......i'll send you some in a box - a big box0 -
C2C Is what National Express used to be, the government has taken it over and given it a naff name!0

I'm feeling miserable today. Have had very little sleep, DS2 was up coughing a lot then when he was sleeping, Amber was up crying, legs stuck through bars, covers off, Ambertronicing, then I had weird dreams that woke me up, then my throat and head started to hurt, then my tummy.... Bit of a fight with Dh because I asked him to see to the boys (I feel very ill, sore itchy throat, nose producing lovely yellow stuff, headache, stomach and back hurts) so he gets up at 9 and then moans because I wont help him. Amber was sleeping next to me cuddled in so if I got up all I'd do is feed her anyway.
I hope your day gets better. Any chance you can grab a nap later?searching_me wrote: »:hello: morning all .. this morning ive already put a wash on, tidied the house, hoovered up, done the pot, cleaned the cooker top, prawn curry in the SC and got jayden dressed as hes going out with daddy .. i had planned to do the tidying while they were out but at least its done ..
Well, that's impressive. If you are struggling for things to do, I know a man who needs helpright, now i've caught up, i need to fill you in on my interesting evening at the IL's!
I won't quote the whole post as it will take up half the page, but sounds like MIL is stirring
Good news about the baby brother and hopefully they can spend time together. The thing about families is someone will always be stirring, even if it takes years to see it, so it's a good job you see it early so you know what you are up against.
If you came out if it looking good though, then that's okay0 -
Thanks feelie, don't worry about the delay it'll take him a fe more months growing to fit anyway
xx
I take it you're back home with OH now?
Yup, I'm back at home. Toby likes it here, lots and lots of wires and buttons. He is currently trying to open the rabbit cage. Oh, and he can say MumHe crawls off, then gets upset that he is far away, so shouts 'Mum!' and starts crying and crawls over to me. Its odd, he never did the 'mumumumum' or 'mamamama' type sound, always just a single 'Mum' while looking at me. It is definitely real
We have another tooth peeking through too, and lots of clapping. No weight gain though, he seems smaller actually
