Em - how exciting! How does OH feel about it - has he said much? Am I right in thinking the OH's parents have continued seeing the little one? Is he going to meet up with her there first? Have you met her before?

Sorry, left that half done, DH came home and I bought him a fake iphone from ebay.

My toe is still sore, could be broken but they don't do anything except give you painkillers and I can walk ok.

Beanie, of course you can steal Ambers name! She's actually Amber Violet, Violet was my Nana, so very colourful. I had Bethany in my head when I did the test, knew she was a girl. Then went onto Eve, but Dh didn't like it. Then we picked out Alice, Lydia, Paige, and something else while she was in SCBU, the nurse said she was going to name her June if we didn't pick something because her name was May. So we ended up fighting over Alice and Lydia, then I had my bit wobble and told DH to pick a bloody name, so he chose Amber... and being honest (don't ever tell him) I wasn't that keen but agreed just so she would have a name. But she is growing into it

cos he thought any point of contact would start a row, which is the whole reason he hasnt seen her in 18 months :rolleyes: last time he saw her was her 7th birthday when The Ex wanted to go out drinking (yes, on her daughters birthday!) after the kids party so she asked OH to have her, then when she picked her up the next morning in a massively hungover state she threw her toys out the pram cos he hadnt brushed her hair after washing it :rolleyes: and they havent spoken since!

yep they've been seeing her about once a month which has meant that OH has been able to be lazy about it all. he seems apprehensive but has said that he is going to text her today. i just suggested he text The Ex now and he snapped that there is no point now cos DSD is at school! i havent met either DSD or The Ex :eek:

Do you think I ought to start packing hospital bag yet :rolleyes:.... right off to post Christmas cards ( first wave), MW, and then Mr.T's for some bits before back to finish cards and wrap pressies ( well start anyway)... oh washer finished so 2nd lot of baby clothes to go in for a rinse then...

Joseph Aaron James, (Joseph was grandad, Aaron because OH wanted Elvis as a middle name, but I put my foot down and agreed to Elvis's middle name instead, and James is my dad's middle name.

Olivia Ann (Liv) and, I have no idea where Olivia came from, I didn't like it (but like Liv), and Ann is my Mum.

Violet Ann, Violet was a random name my sister came up with ages ago, and I didn't like it. But it grew on us! Ann again after my Mum and its OH's mums middle name.

I really liked/llike Amber - but one of my best RL friends has an Amber so didn't want to steal it.

right i am off to remove the cats from within my dressing gown and have a shower, busy-ish day planned, lots of seth food to cook, my shoooooes and some cat food are getting delivered, some carpet scrubbing wouldnt hurt, need to post some ebayings and got to go to aldi to get our 3 bird roasts for xmas, then need to try and fit the boogers in the 2 drawer freezer somehow :eek: i am hoping they come shrink wrapped in the box so i can just take them out the boxes otherwise i dont know how they will go in!!
