  • elle, I did !! I went from being able to sit on my hair to shoulder length to spiked in a year !!

Glad I did it, cuz I only ever had long hair and wanted to see what it would be like, but I am back to below my shoulders again and plan on keeping it that length

The old job sounds better if you can get the hours you want imo.

Yes, I had my hair long for years, then had a short bob. I've never been able to grow it long since - it gets to shoulders and starts annoying me - so I go back to the short bob again!

See that's why I don't have my hair down very often - cos it annoys me touching my shoulders. So I'm thinking something short would be the same as having it tied back but not look so harsh.. need a fringe of some description too, methinks.

Time I grew up and starting making an effort.. I think that's what's getting to me a bit

Attached is recessive, so he's the weird, or special, one.

What has Jack got then? He's 1:1 to get either. I don't think tehy are sex linked....

    detached like me

elle - just bear in mind that a shorter style will probably need more maintenance which us why I'm growing mine so I can wear it up with minimal fuss of a morning! I have very thick hair so have gone from mushroom bob to slick bob!

Sorry JM, either red, grey or black. Would prefere red.

Sami, is it an ebay one you have? was looking at this one but then I'd get jealous cos I want a wifi one and I can't even swap cos my whatever it is is pink. What do you not like about it, if you don't mind me asking. I'm a bit dubious about getting it frome ebay....

I've got a samsung jet, it's supposedly jet fast but it aint! It's more like snail fast  I'm sure I'd like it if I didn't have an ipod and therefore know how speedy they are.
I wouldn't buy any phone off ebay I only buy stuff like that from a 'proper' shop coz I'm paranoid

Totally. DD is 13 and a royal PITA

Oh dear. You know, I really have nothing to complain about. I see and hear about other teenagers/children being right pains and realise I am so lucky. 15yo can be a grump, but they all kiss and hug me in front of friends and aren't demanding.

    Hi everyone :santa2:

well we are home and Dylan is sound asleep. He has been mgiven 2 different inhalers, and a soluable steroid to take too. He has been taking his bottles and keeping most of it down too, so definate improvement. However very very upsetting last night when his oxygen saturation dropped to 88 and he had to go on oxygen mask and I cried cuz the last time he was like that was in NICU.:o
Anyway, have been told he is over the worse of it and should be back to normal within 4 or 5 days if not sooner :T
Thank you everyone for your well wishes, you have no idea how much it meant to me :o:A I love you all xx

Glad to hear he's home and improving. Must have been very hard for you all. Get lots of rest.
  • Tia - I got paid £10.50 an hour for going with the deaf girl to her lectures and taking notes - which in 1998 was bl00dy good money!!

 Was it really 11 years ago

The girl did very well in her exams so I was thrilled :D

FWIW - you didn't even have to know BSL to do the job (although I did which helped us to get along!). Loads of students need scribes and Uni's are all about promoting access so it is a well paid (and much covetted) job!

Anyone care to guess how much ironing I have done??
