Oh, I do have some half-news that I have to tell you all cos I can't tell OH..

Nothing official asked/done yet, but word in the office suggests my temp cover lady isn't too keen on staying on full-time but would like part-time.. which leaves me more likely to go back to my old job, sharing with her, than going to the new job (cos they won't want to put me in the new job, have temp lady down to part-time and have to find a new part-timer for a job I'm already trained to do - understandable).

I'm semi-relieved if I'm honest.. been swaying between preferring one or the other but I think the isolation of the new job would do my head in.. Better the devil I know?

Nothing's been done about it officially until the new year so I'm still waiting to hear more.. (never know, temp lady might change her mind by then).. it's the waiting that's doing my head in mostly!

ETA: The thing that made me think to say it was actually that I've been mulling over having my hair cut - new image for new job and all that.. Down to my shoulders now, thinking short bob.. Anyone been drastic and regretted it before? Suppose it'll grow back eventually :o

want mine? me no likey it, I'm so getting an I phone!!
The LG cookie is only £50 from mandmdirect isn't that an not-an iphone?
What does one do with a basket at Christmas? Stick it in a corner filled with Xmassy things to look nice? Must admit, I'd like a basket to go shopping at Lidl! Little gingham towel thing to put over the top, could be like Red Riding Hood!
:rotfl: until about 5yrs ago one of the local high schools had proper baskets for home ec it was on the uniform code. Kirsty made a hamper with hers, my mum has a big shallow one that she fills with Christmas cards so they're not cluttering up the place

Sorry JM, either red, grey or black. Would prefere red.

Sami, is it an ebay one you have? was looking at this one but then I'd get jealous cos I want a wifi one and I can't even swap cos my whatever it is is pink. What do you not like about it, if you don't mind me asking. I'm a bit dubious about getting it frome ebay....

and MFD, he wont have one of each, it'll be both the same they are not genes that can really go wrong like that.

However DH's cousins lo has 6 toes :D

I think it's a done deal really, only my mum out of the 4 can't do it
so there is either 1:4 or 1:1 chance coz both me n OH are either RR or Rr

see I do remember some of my GCSE / A-level biology :D

The old job sounds better if you can get the hours you want imo.

Yes, I had my hair long for years, then had a short bob. I've never been able to grow it long since - it gets to shoulders and starts annoying me - so I go back to the short bob again!
