I just asked if anyone fancied it - glad to see someone is keen! Perth sounds a good mid-point and has transport links for those on trains and those in cars. Does anyone know perth i.e. a baby friendly place to meet up? the only thing I know is the swimming pool with the semi-outdoor pool:rotfl:

We hadn't got to a date or anything..... and of course it would be children too :D Definately once all festivities were out of the way...perhaps mid Feb time?

I don't know Perth that well, only really travel that way to go to http://www.auchingarrich.co.uk/ which is fab btw

    Hi all,

Just sharing this summary of the morning that OH emailed me

    A Toddler's Easy 8-Step Guide to Pre-Lunch Exercise:
    1. Open all openable cabinets
    2. Empty all potatoes out of sack, ensuring to scatter
    3. Herd all potatoes into one tidy pile, get blue hook, beat
    4. 10 Napoleon Dynamite runs down hallway and back
    5. Scream during runs to exercise vocal chords
    6. Pause to poop
    7. Go climb on Mummy's lap and ensure it rubs all around everywhere and gets fantastically smelly
    8. After change, time for lunch. Remember to toss all courgettes and anything else vaguely green over the side... or better yet, down the butt to squash it horribly

hmmmmm - sounds a bit like my LO sometimes, although today she has been the model child:eek: Who did I swap her with? Actually, I think it's because I'm much more relaxed today than I have been in ages/months/a long time. I think it's rubbing off on her and I'm saying no less and having more fun and smiles. Plus her walking is really coming on - her confidence is sky high now:T

    agreed :(

Kirstie annoyed me a bit GISI, there's something quite cynical about the homemade home which is, I understand, a rental property, being decorated for a christmas with her children and then being decorated with £20 a pop glass baubles.

    She's got a 2 year old hasn't she?!:rotfl:

rental? I thought it was shared ownership between her wealthy boyfriend and a friend of his.........if it's rental then I do think the premise of the show is misleading. I also agree that nothing she did was particularly thrifty. some of the things she did may not cost a lot i.e. the wreath, but realistically not many people have that much in their gardens to use, and although beautiful, I know I wouldn't ever spend £20 on a bauble - even if I was a multi-millionaire. I'm too scottish :p

kirstie has 2 littlies, I can't remember their ages. they have exotic names.

Thankyou for asking lovely but honestly there's nothing wrong.. just don't feel like uttering inane drivel for a change and have nothing interesting to say so I'm just quiet.. Anyway..

I don't know for certain what the legal limit is but I know we'd work to 28 real days, particularly as the company I work for is a manufacturing, 24/7 production type so even though work stops for the office staff for the weekend, the process guys carry on (they work 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off plus longer breaks rather than in weeks). Not sure that helps!

Am off out to my mum's for tea now.. :D

I think it would say if it meant 28 working days. If it just says 28 days I would take that to mean 28 straight days. But I really don't know. legislation is usually specific though.....

MM - great news that dylan is home. hope he feels better soon xxxx

elle, you post useful things, i am the queen of inane drivel, have you read my sugar hyper posts today? :rotfl:

pished off with OH, he was meant to be making sure he was at home at a decent time so we could go to the IL's, but is still at work, phoned and he hasnt even started finishing up yet. great. i deliberately kept seth awake so that he would sleep in the car and he's been grumping away for the last 15 mins and its going right through me! tempted to just put him to bed and tell OH to tell them we're not going, i'm not driving 40 mins each way to stay an hour cos seth needs his bed!

sorry I think that I worded it wrongly, I meant although she often references it as a lovely family home, apparently she rents it out apart from when she films in it :)

Only 2 children? They filmed a lot of location location in those 2 pregnancies :o she's like sarah beeny, always growing and shrinking. Not that i CAN TALK OF LATE (oops caps on!)
