Ah I see, you do have a lot planned then sm:)

I want to get straight next year too, we have decided to stay where we are but gonna need some serious decorating doing. Trying to get the kids room done before christmas as they are getting stuff for their room from santa...2 x lcd tv's, spongebob - clock, bedding, pictures, rug, beenies/figures.....they are spongebob mad!

I think I want to start saving with the credit union again as it is so easy to put the money in and a bit of a faff to get it out so stops me spending it!

  • MM- so pleased to hear that Dylan is well enough to be home. Fingers crossed his recovery is a speedy one and that you can get some rest tonight.

SM- I am in awe of (a) such a good bargain and (b) that you have started buying for next year :T!

Mel- I hope you feel better soon. Headaches are particularly miserable when you are limited by pregnancy on what painkillers you can take.

Just watching Kirsty's Christmas thingy on Sky+ and about to embark in some serious Christmas wrapping and sorting. Need to get the tree out tomorrow so I thought it would be nice to have some pressies to put under it. OH has taken baby into work to show off so I have some peace :D.

Weezl- not feeling that there was a lot of good news for Mummies in the PBR today!

    agreed :(

Kirstie annoyed me a bit GISI, there's something quite cynical about the homemade home which is, I understand, a rental property, being decorated for a christmas with her children and then being decorated with £20 a pop glass baubles.

    She's got a 2 year old hasn't she?!:rotfl:

I did think this and as I say they have been washed loads of times before, right thats a job for tomorrow when LO at nursery.

I'm in Rainham which is kinda borders of Essex/greater London. Ooo Claire's parents live not too far from Billericay in Benfleet if I remember rightly.

Right off to start Christmas card writing... after I enter GMTV & This morning comps for £25K online (free entry there)

Not surre where that is but I know Benfleet!

    Hi all,

Just sharing this summary of the morning that OH emailed me

    A Toddler's Easy 8-Step Guide to Pre-Lunch Exercise:
    1. Open all openable cabinets
    2. Empty all potatoes out of sack, ensuring to scatter
    3. Herd all potatoes into one tidy pile, get blue hook, beat
    4. 10 Napoleon Dynamite runs down hallway and back
    5. Scream during runs to exercise vocal chords
    6. Pause to poop
    7. Go climb on Mummy's lap and ensure it rubs all around everywhere and gets fantastically smelly
    8. After change, time for lunch. Remember to toss all courgettes and anything else vaguely green over the side... or better yet, down the butt to squash it horribly

    Hehe :rotfl:E makes me laugh!

    As does Keira! :rotfl:

Jack is fine after his jabs, he did cry but think it was because he was fully awake this time! He then slept from 2pm til 4pm while I shopped at ASDA and then got a call that I had won a free carpet clean, could they come now? So got my stairs and landing cleaned as the rest of the house is hard flooring!

Off to make tea, do bottles and OH's lunch for work tomorrow!

MM - thanks for the text and letting me know about Dylan!

Sami - I will text you in a bit, but I am going Monday!
A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea

Where does the time go?

Brill sm, I believe you will too

I don't know how much debt we have actually, but just at a guess it is around £4000 so I am going to make a start on tackling that, I have no doubt that it will take a lot longer than a year to clear it, but at least if I make a start. We need to change car next year too, I was so organised last year and this year until my stupid, stupid decision to go to uni and leave my job!!!!! Wow, bet you can't wait until you are driving around:)

Weezl - if I could jump in that time machine and go back a few months that would do me grand:)

Going to go and see about dinner, hmm, curry me thinks:D

My weird baby was up for an hour and has gone back to sleep, actually falling off the boob she was so tired.

I wonder if it's all the attention? It seems that when I leave her with Husband she's talked to and played with a lot, but always on his knee and not on the floor, so we had about two hours' worth of tummy time spread over the day today and it seems she's exhausted! Still no deliberate rolling over but she's trying, and I'm wondering if she's having problems because of her enormous reusable nappies?!

Glad Dylan's ok, at SM's organisation (although I've been doing much the same thing purely through forgetting what I've bought and buying more) and big hugs all round.

We're also planning to look at a new rental place on Monday. It's 25% bigger for about €300/month more and even more central, although we're already about [this far] from the city centre.

Brilliant news MM - I hope he's back to his normal self very soon.

Happy Birthday Em - have you got anything planned for this evening?

Gosh I must really trust you lot, if I confessed to this in real life I would genuinely expect my friends not to invite me round anymore:rotfl:

But that's why we love you! :D

Hello everyone else, hugs where needed.

I was very naughty and caught up a bit in work today - there was nothing else to do! So it's only taken me half an hour to catch up fully. :p
