Please please don't hate me but have now weighed in (first time since mid Dec) and it appears I have STS over the Xmas period. Isuppose we did not go too md on the eating front over Xmas, not too many sweets and not huge portions (can't manage them) but still. I did no exercises as I was on 24 hr call from the 19th till the 21st and then from 22nd till 30th I was surrounded by 8 inch deep snow. Maybe it was simply the keeping warm and walking round in the snow. FRED please still pink me as new year new start - 10lb to lose and I'm finally in the healthy BMI zone although I don't want to get any smaller. Back to exercise and avoiding the C's next week.

    Well done Vixstar! :T:j:T:j

10lbs to get in to the healthy BMI range sounds wonderful .... you'll be there in no time.

I think I'm going to join the 1lb a week club. Unfortunately I've had this 10lb to los for a few months - lost some focus but at least I haven't gained anything (or at least not a lot).

    Hola

    Happy New Year everybody! :D

DH and I have signed up for a competition to see who can lose the most weight in a month - more incentive to stick to the eat healthily and exercise more regime! The final weigh in for the comp is on 1st Feb, so I'll let you know how we get on.

We're weighing in for the thread on Wednesday and hoping that the Christmas and New Year excesses will have disappeared by then - fingers crossed and lips sealed ;)

Hope everyone had a good time on New Years Eve. We were hoping to celebrate on the beach but there was a cold wind so we went to a party at the site club and popped down to the beach at midnight for the fireworks and a hotdog. The party went on until 2am and considering the average age of the people here is probably 60+, there was plenty of drinking, merriment and dancing and a good time was had by all. We also got to do the midnight snogging twice as we celebrated the Spanish New Year first, then the UK New Year an hour later! lol

See you on Wednesday with the result of our weigh ins.

    Lois and Superman :)
    Start BMI - 38.7 Current BMI - 31.2 Target BMI - 26.3

Hi, thanks for all the hellos! Nice to know I'm not in this alone - its abit daunting as I've never had so much to lose before.

Missy and FunkyFunkymonkey - I know 5 stone seems a lot to drop 2 sizes (comfortably) but I have never been smaller than a size 12 even when I weighed just 10 stone (prior to 3 children !!). I can only put this down to the fact that I'm quite (ok very....) busty whatever weight I am and the fact that everyone says I weigh much heavier than I look -if that makes sense??

    My mum says I'm "solid".....:rotfl:

    xx

I'd send you some Beanie - but they'd probably not get there in time.

Do you have any other item that has the same batteries in?

You could swop them for you to weigh in and then swop them back afterwards.
