im following vickis diet of youth, whereby i eat as much as i want when i want and still don't put any weight on......but obviously im 24 next year, old age will creep in and metabolism will slow down to the extent where eating a lettuce leaf will be an instant 1lb gain
I heard from the breast immaging job, saying that i havent got it. It was nice to get a reply, to know either way. The trouble is that that job matched my skills like no other so if i cant get that what hope do i have for anything else? Still, always look on the bright side of life and all that!0 -

oh Vix I am sorry to hear that. I was going to re-arange my next mammogram to Canterbury so you could make me laugh whilst my bosoms were squashed flat as a pancake.
It seems so amazing that super people like you (and others that contribute to this thread) have a problem getting the job they want when there are so many people employed who are clearly not suited to their work. Now, when Granny is in charge of the world ........ creeps offto nurse her delusions of grandeur .....
Hoping for a STS Beanie. How are you getting on?0 -

I weighed myself yesterday, and I'm back up to 168 lbs. Not too bad I suppose, just half a stone on in all the time I've been away & not posting or weighing. I did eat like a pig on honeymoon, and haven't been running for a while.
I really need to get back into the jogging, but the weather has been rubbish, pouring down with rain so even the dog doesnt want walkies!
Can I be added back onto the list, and zero-ed? I'll start again from todayDebt Free as of 17/01/2009 Turtle Power!!

Almost there Raph, now what are u doing up at this time kpc? Must be work related eh?
First day I have felt really good on getting up out of bed, hopefully that's the last of the piggy flu.
Quick read of forums b4 I leave for work...4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0 -
Happy to report -2LB loss this week Fred.
However I've had bad flu/cold all week (not the piggy kind, thank goodness) so have been existing on Ready Brek and bananas since Sunday, plus flopping around the house feeling sorry for myself and not doing any exercise, so I fully expect to gain if/when I get back to normal. In the meantime I'll celebrate hopfully saying goodbye to the "13's" forever - first time I've been under 13 stone in 2 years!! :j My trousers are definitely feeling lose and I'm not even wearing my control pants!! :rotfl::rotfl:
It's all gone quiet on the job front, it's been over a week since my last meeting and I've haven't heard a dicky bird out of anyone; they did say at the start that it was going to be a 2-4 week decision making process and its now coming up to the end of week 3 since my first meeting. Will try contacting the recruitment consultant today & see (1) if he'll take my call and (2) if he has any updates - even if its a No at least I won't be kept in suspense any longer and I'll use the opportunity to get some feedback.
Sorry about your job news Vix - at least they let you know. In a buyers market I find that manners tend to go out of the window.£2 Savers Club 2016 #21 £14/£250

Good morning
After what I thought was a stay the same last week, I can now confirm 2lb loss for this weekbut am I in the wrong thread and should I be declaring this elsewhere? Off to check, just in case I miss the first week again.
Michellefromessex, I'm on the 'eat anything, just much less of it' diet, it's what works for me as I'm too lazy to follow any 'proper' diet plan. :rotfl:I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.
