Hezza - what OU course are you doing? Hope your essay got away OK?

Thanks for asking! :D I'm doing a BA Hons in English Language Literature (year 2, only 4 more to go!) and my current course is on the Literature part, so lots of reading - poetry, Shakespeare etc plus Jane Austen, feminist writings, Ibsen plays etc etc. All very informative and (in the main) quite engaging. I submitted my last essay 3 days early so should get my mark any day now (the tutor is usually pretty prompt with marking assignments). 2 more assignments to go, then an exam in June. (been a few years since I last sat in an exam hall!). I've already registered for my next course on creative writing, which will start in October. I really wanted something to go stright onto after this one just to save a bit of time but all of my subject areas have either October or February start dates.

So I heard today that I have my second interview all set up for Thursday and the agency asked for my references today, so all being well I start my new job next Monday!!

Well done Eric!:T Just a thought to make you feel better about your partner being away - when she comes back she will really notice the difference in your weight. When you are around someone all the time; you know that they are losing weight but you don't really get the impact of it because you see them everyday! So happy days for you!:j:j:j

Good morning all!!:D As expected a gain for me this week but only +1LB, so not too bad considering the cr*p I've been eating for the last few days. The last of the birthday cake is gone so back on the wagon big time, currently eating porridge oats with a dash of honey for brekky! that will fill me up for most of the morning hopefully!
