Wooooohooo! I have incredibly good news! But first my PADs:

24/12: £593.11 to my o/d - clearing it! (albeit temporarily)
    25/12: £1 to flagon
    26/12: £1 to flagon
    27/12: £1 to flagon
    28/12: 70p to flagon
29/12: £2986.28 to my loan - clearing it!
    Total PAD: £3583.09

This means that as of 10am this morning I am DEBT-FREE!!!

However, to become debt-free a month early I have set myself quite strict limits on spending ths month, and I may, therefore, have to use a little of my overdraft to see me through until next payday..but that will be paid off next month. However, right here, right now (and with spends in the bank) I am clear. Man, it's such a great feeling. :D

If it's OK with everyone, though, I would like to stick around and start PADing into savings from next month...I love it here :o

I hope everyone is having fantabulous holidays!

    Weeeeeeeeeee *meep*
    TPx

:T :j :T Very well done you! That's fab news. I really can't wait to experience that debt free feeling. Enjoy every second x

  • :T:T:TWell done to thriftypixie on being Debt Free.

I can't wait, but actually think that despite the 14 year calculation from CCCS originally, it may now be late in 2010 or early 2011, mainly thanks to this thread.

P.S is anybody else having trouble with Farmville? I can't get on at all, keep getting message about server being out of sync and to try agian.

Sorry but this did make me chuckle a bit, because it reminded me of a friend who slipped on the ice on her way to work when she was 8 months pregnant, just outside the office in full view of everyone. We shouldn't have laughed but she was sat there killing herself laughing because she was only 4 foot nothing and just couldn't get herself up. In the end we went out and helped her. Then we all slipped around too! This was a long time ago and said baby is now 23 but I still think of her when I see someone pregnant trying to walk on icy paths.

It probably looked like something from Keystone Cops - now thats showing my age!

Glad you and baby were ok though, as you said, any other time you'd have laughed.
