Been on BB this morning, didnt win a pennyStill mustnt grumble
Oh I need to confess too, I went on the internet and accidentally managed to buy a condenser dryerim sure youll appreciate that with 6 people in the house and the bad weather, trying to dry things on radiators is costing me a fortune in heating so im hoping that a dryer will cut the gas costs a little and thus pay for itself
Cost is £210 (cheapest they had) and 3 months interest free so not all bad and it will be paid without extra costs
Hi Mumof4 :hello:
I saw you on BB this morning (I'm Triman for DH), I didn't win a bean either . Keep going though - your numbers will come up at some point!
I bought a dryer just before Christmas too - without a shred of guilt (now, I did worry at the time though). It was £199 plus Quidco cashback. It's the best money I've ever spent. I didn't buy one before because I know they are the worst appliances for the environment - but s*d it!
I loooove it!!! Enjoy x
Will be back with a PAD later, have a good day everyone x0 -
A middle-aged woman seemed sheepish as she visited her gynaecologist.
"Come now," coaxed the doctor, "you've been seeing me for years. There's nothing you can't tell me."
"This one's kind of strange," the woman said.
"Let me be the judge of that," the doctor replied.
"Well," she said, "yesterday I went to the bathroom in the morning and heard a plink-plink-plink in the toilet. When I looked down, the water was full of pennies."
"I see," commented the doctor calmly.
"That afternoon, I went to the bathroom again and, plink-plink-plink, there were 5ps in the bowl," the woman continued.
"That night," she went on, "I went again, and plink-plink-plink, there were 20ps. This morning, there were 50ps!"
"You've got to tell me what's wrong with me!" she implored. "I'm scared out of my wits!"
The gynaecologist put a comforting hand on her shoulder. "There, there, it's nothing to be scared about," he said.
"You're simply going through the change!"

Thanks mac and Euro. Glad your feeling better now Euro. Looks like my bug wasn't so 24 hour. Woke up ill again at 3.30am and was quite sick this morning. I think it might be because I ate a Ferrero Rocher last night thinking it would be fine cos I kept toast and skips down.
Apparently not! So...back to skips, toast and sprite.
Anyway, pad of £1 again. Looks like I won't be making it to the sales this year - probably a good thing!Success is not final, failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts. Car loan 1 £11,174, Car loan 2 £5,532, CC 0% BT £780. Debt Free Diary to try & keep spending in check.0 -
