    Hello All :j

Well Done to Thrifty Pixie for finally being DF - that place we all wannabe :D:D:D

Couldn't get on last night due to downtime, so there's £25 for yesterday to le vile Virgin - and another £1000 to M&S cc, making a PAD total of £1025 today please Gilliansyle thankyou!! Got DH to add up our pmts/debts yesterday, slightly disappointed at the amount still owing, but looks like we paid off around £15K since Feb09. Still, it took 10years to accumulate so much debt, it's gonna take awhile to get shot of it all :rotfl:

Good morning folks! Long time no PAD! :D

I took December off to help with Christmas etc, to get myself in shape for the big 2010 push! I've been doing some figures this morning...and have some exciting news!

I've worked out that on my current course, if I keep paying as I have been, i'll be debt free by April 2011, but...I hadn't taken into account the rolling effect of paying my cards off quicker by using the money once i've paid off the first card...second card etc, so as it stands...

If I pay off my Abbey card by February, I'll have an extra £87 to put onto my EGG card each month - which brings the EGG final payment date to June 2010 (would have been September :)) - which in turn means once that's paid, i'll have an extra £230 to pay onto my Virgin card a month - bringing the final payment forward to September (rather than February 2011! :))

Ultimately this means once my cards have gone by September - i'll have an extra £429 to pay towards my loan - bringing my new debt free date to...

    January 2011 rather than April 2011! :j:j:j

I'm gonna need some support and real budgeting skills to stick at it - 12 months time and I could be debt free...I can almost taste the freedom! :rotfl:

I hope everyone had a fantastic Christmas - here's to an exciting 2010 - PADing resumes as of January 1st - Wooooo Yeah!!! :D
Bank loan was £18,202.32 now £441.53
    Egg C/C @ 0% was £1467.75 now £582.99
    Virgin CC @ 0% was £2827.54 now £1974.34
    £3,121.15 Remaining...DEBT FREE >>> Potentially now September 2010!!!

Morning everyone, Pad of £2.02 today

Hope you all have a great day, went on BB and won £5 but forgot to prebuy tickets so I prebought with the rest of the bonus and the £5 hoping to win cash to withdraw later.

Good luck for lots of snow Euro

    Have a great day everyone
  • Back again!

Been doing a bit of totalising so that I don't have to do it all at once and so far this month the payments each day have averaged £1500!! Yesterdays total was the biggest so far this month, and at some point in early Jan we will definitely pass the £500,000 mark.
:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:You want to be on the GMTV sofa with Martin eh?!

I was thinking about PMing him with the end of year total for PAD - what do you think? I think we've all done so well!

I think you definitely should - its an amazing collective effort and full of other MSE tips and very supportive.

    Morning everyone,
my god my back is killing me today, got a whopping bruise on my bum:rolleyes:, we did have a chuckle about it later. OH said it was just blummin typical that it would be me to fall over.

Just had a look at my online banking and its all over the place at the minute. Some things that i'd paid for over a week ago have still not come out and other things i didnt expect to be paying have come out early. So i'll only be making tiny pads till after the new year and my bank balance has sorted itself out.

So today my pad is £1.25 please. £1 to baby savings and the 25p to my pad tin.
    £387.39/£196.46
Pay my debt by End of Feb 2022
    49.28% paid!

£199.55/£500 savings by End of April 2022
    39.91% saved!

    Make £2022 in 2022 - £20

You should see my Excel spreadsheet - it's all i've been doing since 6am this morning! :D - it's so good to see it written down and for it to be a real possibility, just need to stick at it!

I might even be able to start looking at buying a house next year at this rate! :D
