New fiesta zetec. Deal any good?

I saw that too. They stated a Fiesta had gone up to £10,600 and something from just over 8 grand. Shocking really, when they blame it all on production costs.

Most manufacturer's blaming increased prices on poor £/€ rate. Q3/Q4 2008 was the best time to buy a new car - oversupply in the market (before/while most manufacturers were cutting production) and before the exchange rate fluctuations caused price increases.

Well, the 8k deal aside. Is 10k a good price for the car? I am told by a number of dealers today I should snap up their offer and they thought I was telling porky pies.

i bought brand new 1.25 fiesta zetec in nov 2008and paid £9750 for it.found it very cramped, very noisy, was quite fun to drive but i sold it within 6 months and went back to a 53 focus, and to me and my husband there is no contest!!!!!!!!!!! also if you look around there are a lot of fiestas for sale in lots of garages, hope this helps you make right decision.:eek:

Personally I would need more info before commenting on the deal. Which engine? 3 door or 5 doors? Is that with metallic paint?

Its a three door, 1.25, non metallic

Well in that case autoebid are offering it at £10124 and buyacar are advertising it at £10325 so I would say you have been offered a very good deal indeed.
