Right, Allen Ford have just rang to say what ever Bristol Street say, they will beat it by £50 every time. They reckon they refuse to be beaten on price.

Allen Ford is 20 miles away. I think they will have to do a bit more than £50, just for the sheer inconvenience of keep going to the dealership!

I wonder if I should phone Bristol Street again?

Do you guys recommend the 1.4 petrol then? I would imagine I would get that for about £600 cheaper?

I would go back to Bristol st first. If you are looking at the 1.4 petrol, Bristol st near me offered me that, zetec, with Bluetooth and non metallic for £100 more than I paid for the 1.25 - unfortunately it was too late to cancel the 1.25 order

so the 1.4 zetec 3 door can be had for about £10,200

Guys - Just a tip for you. I'm an ex-Fordie. Different regions have different deals, so when you are looking you should ring dealers for prices in different regions. i.e South East, Midlands, Scotland, Wales. That's what I did & I got a Fiesta Zetec and a Ka Luxury incredible cheaper than I would have got local. Before you spend that time and expense on the phone though 1) Ensure you know exactly what you want and 2) Get the receptionist to ask the salesman to phone you back....saves the phone bill too :T Hope this is of some help

My question is. Why would you want to buy a second hand car, even with low miles and remaining warranty, if with haggling you can get brand new for the same money or cheaper?

Why not look at pre-registered if the only downside is being the second name on the V5? Huge savings to be had on Fiestas.

I think if I was offered Superdons deal I would take it today. You got a Zetec for an incredible price. I do want metallic paint though.

Superdon, what Bristol Street were you dealing with?

Today I am going to be haggling on petrol engines.

I am trying to get a Zetec with metallic paint and bluetooth for around £10,600. I have 2 Bristol Street motors near me, and then there is Allen Ford.

I am going to be straight up today. If they can do me a Zetec for around the £10,600 mark I will be ordering today. Simple as.

Same as if they can do me a metallic Titanium for around £11,500 mark I will order today.

You should easily be able to get to that price with a privilege voucher.
Add to that, a scrappage vehicle and you might just get down to the £8k someone was suggesting their mate paid.

Guys, after much haggling I have today completed a deal!

I went to bristol street who said the best they could do on a 5door Zetec, panther black with Bluetooth 1.4 petrol was £12800. My answer was NO simple as. They were not budging what so ever.

Went to Bristol Street near me, and was told they would be able to do it for £11200 which came to £194 a month over 24 months, So thats with me putting my car in for £5500, putting £2000 cash and ford offer of £450 with -£1158 remaining balance on my car now. Which realistically is a very good offer.

I then proceeded to ask about titanium.... and thank god I did!!!! They quoted me the cheapest price I have had so far!

They found a Panther Black Ford Fiesta Titanium with Bluetooth and USB, 5 door with a 1.4 petrol engine. Its not been manufactured yet, but its due to be on the 17th nov, and I will get it first week of dec.

I have paid just over £11800 for the car. I have my car which they giving £5500 for, £2000 cash deposit and Ford are giving me £450. Take away my outstanding balance of £1158 leaves me paying £157 per month for 36 months or £227 over 24 months. Iv chosen the 36 month option!

I know some people will pull my deal apart, but I think I have a cracking deal!

You are paying £13602 for a ford fiesta that no doubt the prices will crash on in the near future leaving you massively overpaying when it comes to value for money.
