You sound as bad as a car dealer with the Mk 5 Cortina Ford never made.:rotfl:

Hello Superdon. I havent asked the dealer about that to be honest. I dont think it will affect it as he told me to order quick BEFORE they happen.

My car I have ordered is now Commited IN PLANT, so its obviously in the factory and its build finish date is Tuesday. Fingers crossed I should get it before Dec as the dealer told me that because I have bought it, it wont have to go to a Vehicle Holding Centre, and instead get loaded straight onto a lorry and straight to my dealer.

Isnt it funny how some of the Bristol Street have different prices!?
  • Delivery in time to blow your spp then Matt.

Its the same I had with Evans Halshaw. They went mad when they realised they were beating each others deals (Wolverhampton, Walsall and Stourbridge).

The chap in Bristol St, Hagley Road was actually the best guy I dealt with, really down to earth. Shame he didnt come up with the deal when I was at the showroom with him, or he would have had the business. He has called me a couple of times again over the last couple of days, but I really dare not answer in case he has come up with an even better deal to tempt me. Its just too late, and I already told him that.

Have you got the chassis number for your car? If so, you can log on to the Ford Etis site which gives you some details about the build and means you can check how things are going and if the spec is right.

special priority payment? i presume thats what chippy meant? with the mention of police discounts, I thought you had maybe talked about it elsewhere on the forum.

the dealer might not have the chassis number yet I guess, if its not actually gone into build.

Well, based on mine and Matts deal, it looks like the discounts are coming out around 21% of list price, on the road. Not bad I think. Although shame the new Fiestas are so highly priced in the first place!
