Feline, well done on your deal! It sounds reasonable, especially as you have had metallic paint and a diesel engine!

How long are you having to wait now? I phoned my dealer up the other day. My car was built on the 17th November, and were just waiting for it to arrive in the UK ( Southampton ). It has a priority order on it so I should get it before the ETA of 5th December!! I cant wait!!!!!!

Have you had it on their options plan with the final value settlement figure, or straight out finance because £200 interest for 2 years sound terribly low for 7k's worth of balance on a straight out finance.

Sorry in advance if this has already been posted, I only flicked through all the posts....

Try DriveTheDeal.com - all cars come from main UK dealerships, no-imports, no pre-reg.
    e.g.
Fiesta 1.25 Zetec 3dr comes out with a saving of 3123.70 at 9717.30

Yep, we are using their price as our target prices.

I am putting £2500 on finance and paying 6600 in cash, payments will be about 112.50 per month for 24 months totalling to about 2700, which doesn't seem too bad and as I will be saving 250 because of the 450 "deposit allowance" deal it's still a saving overall.

The car is already in the UK so I should get it next week - I am looking forward to it but I am also a bit nervous as it's my first ever brand new car so it will be in perfect condition which I have never had before!

    Hi

People here are saying they are using the DriveTheDeal.com prices as their list prices to negotiate with the garages. Are they achieving the DriveTheDeal.com prices, are they coming just over or are they even getting an offer under these website prices?

I've got a saving of £3,462.01 on the car I want from the website, but I'm not sure how realistic it is for a garage to match this saving.

    Thanks in advance.

Why not just buy it from the website? All they do is put you in touch with a main dealer.

I'm interested in taking out the 4.9% loan offer mentioned above by FelinePrincess, as it may work out cheaper with their £450 extra money off.

I didn't really answer the question - I prefer to try and haggle direct with the garages, and not that sure of the website nethod.
  • Have a look at the Titanium Fiesta with metallic paint and Bluetooth USB 1.4 petrol 5 door on drive the deal.

I got it for either £11800 or £11900.

My drive the deal price was 11,068 this was including extra discount instead of the free usb and bluetooth offer. I am paying 11,550 before part ex and I'm getting the bluetooth and usb (which I think is priced at 190 but not sure) so I am paying a bit more then the drive the deal price but like yourself I wanted to go direct to garages and I got this deal at a garage I liked about an hour away so I decided against spending more time phoning other garages and possibly driving a long way to see them. Which car are you interested in?

As I said when you go through drivethedeal they just put you directly in contact with a main dealer and you conclude the deal with them. Your entire experience is exactly the same as buying with a main dealer it's just that drivethedeal have done your negotiating for you. Most of the time you can get all of the special finance offers and you pay your money to the dealer.

I am interested in the Titanium with a 1.6 litre petrol engine, with a number of the options added on.
Drive The Deal price was £12,734 for the 3 door option, and £12,974 for the 5 door option. I am unsure how many doors I need! I also have a car for part exchange, which should be at least £4,625, being the price quoted by webuyanycar.com.

I will hopefully be using your moneysaving tip of taking out some finance where the interest costs are less than the £450 off promotion for taking the finance out in the first place.

    Many thanks.
