There's plenty of sources to tell us plenty of things - pretty sure everyone can find something to link to support something or other - but really when I was asking chuck why he thought that figure - I was just asking chuck for his opinionPrefer girls to money0

The figures reported from the NLA report are meaningless. They don't provide information on sample sizes, the overall size of the sector, and they give an essentially anecdotal view of the size of the problem - "three quarters of landlords have experienced arrears".
As I say, the hard and true measure of the size of the problem is the cost of the insurance against it, which is negligible. It follows directly that the problem is negligible.0 -

Saying "3/4s" doesn't tell you what the spread of the problem is, and it doesn't tell you the seriousness of the arrears. It could be that the 25% not seeing the problem owned half of the rental properties, and half of the others had 1 incident of slightly late payment. Completely meaningless, but as I recall from the 8 fold discussion you're not very good with numbers.
The true measure is the cost of the insurance. Which is tiny.0 -
And that, my dear Wookie, is a TEXTBOOK ad hominem.0
