The only people you seem to know are people making daft decisions. I've really lost count of how often you've metaphorically rolled your eyes at their silliness.
Do you know anyone who is doing ok without any advice pobby? Anyone who you look at and think "Hmmmmm I'd do exactly that too"??
I'd get yourself a job at Citizens Advice or something, the people who visit are more minded to follow advice I'd wager. You can then share your wisdom with grateful individuals and share with us about how you actually did change someones mind and save their financial future.
All I see is a decade when lending got out of hand that has produced a massive bubble in property prices. Banks on the brink of going bust and an interest rate that is allowing the banks to build up capital at the expense of not only the borrowers but also the prudent.
Then again I may well be older than you. In those days, should this interest you, we had inflation. Not just HPI, but across all sectors including wages.
Frankly I wouldn`t, in my position, do anything right now as I am experiencing stuff that I would never have dreamed of. Certainly a long term consideration as in buying a home needs a degree of thought.
I also stand by what I have said in the past. I don`t think it sensible that my nephew, in the building trade takes on a lie to buy 40 year mortgage. My friends at 50 buying a house in a sink council estate on 100% mortgage wouldn`t appeal to me.
However I have said it, I know plenty who are seeing where this is all going and doing nothing right now. I am one of them.0 -
you missed the point about the bully boy comment he'd probably be more described as a lap dog...
He is polite Chucky. Polite.
That doesn't make a man a lapdop, it makes him a gentleman.carolt reaps what she sows unfortunately you've obviously been reading selectively or missed it comepletly - how come you or LIR or even Singlesue get any problems or issues with other forum members?Retail is the only therapy that works0 -
Lap dog, now that is funny.0

Right... The new polite is now always sticking up for another poster even when they're in the wrong... and accusing others of being a bully boy
i find that amusing, weird and even quite sweet...There is never an excuse for nastiness
you are of course correct... but you do realise that people will always reap what they sow...0 -
This is not to make anyone feel guilty including you chucky. In another post on here regarding some tv tripe about people on benefits, I posted that I was disabled from my teens and at 20 was offered the chance to draw incapacity benefit for however long, maybe for life.
I fought long and hard with it and still do today. I will be disabled unless some amazing development in medicine is found for ever. So think very long and hard about who you call weak. Thank you.0 -

for your benefit please also think long and hard when you throw your accusations around in your defense of other users...
weak mentally and weak physically as i assume you're trying to imply here are completely different things.
i don't think anyone would make a story like that up so well done on overcoming the challenges put in front of you and continuing to do so.0 -
What accusations are those chucky?0

No it isn`t the pobby show. Never has been. However an answer to a simple question would not come amiss.0

Because bullies like to group together and pick on individuals who stand out in some way. I stand out because I have the courage to stand up to your bullying, just as I would do in real life. You do it because you're lazy and because you're stupid, and it saves you having to put up any kind of intelligent answer to the arguments I pose.
And also because you're cruel.
Luckily, I don't really mind. As I could fit the amount of respect I have for the lot of you (DD, 'stifler's mom' aka...who?, ISTL, etc etc) - on a pinhead, and still have loads of room to spare.
I was amused when the other day Jonny Bravo referred to some post he'd made 18 months aho, clearly expecting me to have a clue what the reference wa about. But I didn't. Because the stuff you say...I don't dwell on it, I don't remember it. You have as much reality as a cartoon character to me, chucky, a kind of real life Itchy and Scratchy or something. Buying a home for my family - now that's real to me. That matters.
But some jerk off an internet forum? Who gives a toss.0
