Perhaps Carolt is concerned regarding the likely interest rises?

It isn't a game, even for professional landlords. Anyone referring to it that way (landlord or investor or speculator) I usually have my doubts about whether they have the necessary levels of intelligence and wisdom.... even though under Labour lots of weak-minds have struck it lucky in BTL.

    .

I don't think it matters whether I have the necessary levels of wisdom...I'm the tenant!

BTW.. is Chucky a girl? The 'weak-men' reference confused me.

of course not dude - i was laughing at the guys on here who have their internet infactuations for other poster. i.e. Pobby defending Carol even when she's rude to other posters...

Infatuations I think is the correct spelling. Anyway, by the by. As for carolt, she is most likely young enough to be my daughter. I like Carol, certainly a bright lady that puts up with abuse and gives as good as she gets.

OK I do thank a lot of her posts as she has the pluck to stand up to a lot of the bully boys on here. So what`s your problem chucky? Do grow up and stop projecting your own little fantasies.

I was quite surprised when the youngish couple next door said they bought a buy-to-let. It was the lady of the house behind it. Don`t think my buddy, her partner, is up for it. They do have a very low mortgage but it seems that it was only considered for a month before they went out and bought. He was moaning that they will have to subsidise the rent as they want to let via the council. Hmm, should have done a few more sums.

They are good mates so I didn`t mention that the BOE base rate was a touch on the lowish side.

I'd have put money on you knowing someone making a bad decision pobby. A lot of money.

The only people you seem to know are people making daft decisions. I've really lost count of how often you've metaphorically rolled your eyes at their silliness.

Do you know anyone who is doing ok without any advice pobby? Anyone who you look at and think "Hmmmmm I'd do exactly that too"??

I'd get yourself a job at Citizens Advice or something, the people who visit are more minded to follow advice I'd wager. You can then share your wisdom with grateful individuals and share with us about how you actually did change someones mind and save their financial future.

KK I aways thought so (guy). You reminded me of Tucker or Church with the first part of your reply. Red vs Blue. Utterly brilliant independent-made internet-only sci-fi comic series, all filmed within the levels of a computer game. It reminds me of this forum a little bit.. the bulls vs the bears. Should be compulsory viewing for all guys under 35 with a computer and internet. Just caught up on all the episodes since end of series 4 and was totally blown away. If I ran ITV or C4 I'd totally commission it.

no problem here... i'm not talking about thanking posts - you can thank who ever you like. it's your double standards that i'm laughing at Pobby especially when you mention bully boys and your continuing defence of something that is extremely obvious... haha you can't see it can you

I was a tenant once for a very short time. It left me with a very dirty taste in my mouth.

Next time, pay the rent with cash.

I dont think there is anyone who uses this forum who would refer to Pobby as any kind of a "bully boy".

I agree with him about Carolt. I am frequently shocked at the amount of vitriol that is directed at her on here.

Says more about those posters characters than it does about Carolt.

you missed the point about the bully boy comment he'd probably be more described as a lap dog...
