            Hi all,
Only just checked the messages. The files are on an external hard drive. I'll also pick up some new disks tomorrow to see if they work any better.

move the files onto the PC hard drive
most likely the data transfer speed from the external drive is too slow for burning0

You'll also need to to check if you can update the firmware for your drive.0

Do you know which drive is in your machine? 'Right click' on the drive and choose Properties > Hardware

I use both convertxtodvd and Ashampoo Burning Studio 9. Both have to be paid for and are about the £30 mark. However if you download the Ashampoo trial version they will eventually (within months) bombard you with emails offering it for £7 or thereabouts. Both are very user friendly and do a good job.I'm Glad to be here... At my age I'm glad to be anywhere!!
I'm not losing my hair... I'm getting more head!!0
