Good Morning!
Despite not having much sleep, I feel full of energy. I always feel like this just before Christmas - it must be all the excitement
10p and 25p on the scratchcard and £5.52 from Virgin, plus £15 from work for my eye test :j £30 has come out for my diesel, so I'm still £88 over my self imposed OD limit
A busy day planned:- Drop DD at school
- Take little DD to nursery to deliver her Christmas cards - she has insisted
- Order cooked meat for the party from the butchers
- Go to a local Patisserie my SiL recommended for a couple of quiches for the party - seems like an extravagance we can't afford, so we'll see....
- Go to SiL's to drop off more invitations
- Go to Ikea to buy canopy for DD's bed - from Santa - only £9.99 - so it's allowed, then no more pressies for them
- Come home and go to Nativity - tissues at the ready!
- Go to PO to get quote for the Ebay parcel. The cards are not all written yet, so I [STRIKE]might [/STRIKE] WILL post them in the morning
- Tonight, I will then finish the rest of the wrapping :j
Have a good day if you're reading this, Mac x0 -
Nice long list of things to achieve, what a day off it would be if the list was to relax, watch TV, eat chocolate....1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j
2nd debt - MBNA - £6,618.52
First in many many to go - baby steps and all that!

Had a very productive day today :j
Phoned the car parking firm and they were very friendly and said if I have a bank statement with the date of purchase, that's as good as a ticket :T
Great, I was dreading having to pay £60. Tonight, I plan a leisurely evening writing cards and wrapping the last few bits (whilst drinking either wine or a cheeky Baileys). I can get the 2 vouchers I need online and then relax
Then tomorrow I just need to work out how much food I'll need to feed 100-150 people. I'll worry about that one tomorrow...

Good Morning
Little DD has asked Santa for "10 Topsy and Tim books" for Christmas. I'd only bought her 3, but as it's the only thing she's asked for, I've just ordered some more.
It's more than my life's worth to mess with her
Today we have ballet x 2. Practise this morning, followed by a 2 hour performance this afternoon, then drive at lightspeed to swimming lessons!
DD1 was fantastic as Mary - it was a very proud moment, but I had to sit at the front of the stage - so no crying from me
DH is going to get the tree today, so we'll all decorate that this afternoon (then I'll re-do it properly when the kids have gone to bed :D)
Followed by lots of lovely housework and de-cluttering - bliss.
Have a good day if you're reading this x0 -
Also putting my tree up today mac, which will also probably need to be re-arranged after kiddies are in bed;).0

The tree is still in the back of the car. The house looks like a complete tip and I'm going to need an army of Oompa Lumpas to help me sort it out! :rotfl:
We're taking the kids to Chatsworth House tomorrow as a Christmas treat.
It is too expensive really, but we've stayed in for months now to save money and I feel like I'm punishing them.
It will be lovely, but will mean unless I do housework all evening (that feels soooo sad on a Saturday night), that the house will still look a mess this time next week
The good news is, DH is now on BB and it feels so good to be back in the saddle - fingers crossed for a few wins0 -
I'm jealous of DH!! I Wanna be back on BB :rotfl:Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Just played a game where the house was £500!!!!
There is nothing like BB to get the adrenalin pumping! It's enough to make me start gambling a fiver a week0 -
I got excited playing when the house was £67 imagine winning £500!!! Think my last game on BB now and grieving
Chatsworth House is lovely - I love it there and have done some runs through there as it's not far from me. Hope you enjoyed it, been perfect weather for it as well today.
The sat nightmare routine sounds similar, we have swimming lessons and dancing, dread it when DS requests to start football
