Noticed on the EGG site that the 0% deal is for "BRAND NEW CUSTOMERS ONLY" Grrrr!!! I called them to see if they could offer me a deal, but no - 16.9% was the best they could offer

Nevermind, I still have the Virgin option, so will switch it to that today.

DD is currently trying to build a lego tower on my keyboard, so she's definitely back at nursery tomorrow

At least I can finish my ironing, move the tumble dryer from the middle of the cellar floor and get it ready for action and write my Christmas cards :T

Last week I switched £3800 from my Virgin CC to Nationwide. The balance is now showing as transferred on my N/Wide account, so I was surprised to see it also showing on the Virgin account

Luckily they are both 0% but it made me wonder how often I have paid a little extra interest to both parties while waiting for (in this case Virgin) to "authorise" payment. Why they need to authorise anything when it is being paid to them - is beyond me

So will have to wait another few days before I can switch the overdraft *sigh*

Well the tumble dryer is in situ and has been working it's magic all afternoon! :T
We've currently got the washer, tumble dryer and dishwasher going - the electric meter is flying round at Benny Hill Speed

Anyhow, as I've had time and energy on my hands today, I've been mulling over my debtfree date. I'd really like it to be by next August, which leaves 8 months @ £2250 per month. This leaves me short by a long way, but rather than thinking I can't do it, I'm trying to find a way to up my income.
I need to keep Ebaying, but I've sold the items of any real value, so the rest will provide a trickle of cash - if that....

The obvious option is working full time, which would bring in a nice chunk of cash, but I'm reluctant to do that. So I think I need to get creative and make stuff to sell. The question is What???

Yes, if only I could work less hours for the same pay....
I did get a bit done in the house today which is a relief and has made me calmer.

Unfortunately I missed work today and an important meetin which has been re-scheduled for tomorrow. I have alot of work to prepare for it, but have just had a 2 hour debate with OH while he vents his spleen about his business
All the time I'm thinking "I've been here all day - not working - I need to get on and do something!!"
Now it's 10pm and I want to go to bed....life doesn't get easier does it?

Found a few things to Ebay so will list them tomorrow evening - night x

Thanks Hopeful - how are you? Hanging on in there I see - not long now :)
Hope you're feeling ok and not getting too fed up x

Yes, the meeting went very well and was all very positive which is a relief!
Tonight though I need to do some work, there's a lot to pack in before Christmas and if I don't put in extra hours now, I'll get behind.

No free scratchcard on Virgin today  I wonder if they've stopped doing them....
I just bought and played 30p's worth of tickets from my winnings, which is annoying as I'm only 38p away from a payout
    - but still no scratchie....

Anyway £100 went to Goldfish today and I got £7 postage refunded from something that was a day late being delivered - plus £4 on Quidco :T.

I'm waiting for someone to collect an Ebay item which sold for the paltry sum of 99p  Still it frees up space and I guess is better then nothing.

Have a good evening - will try and pop back later when I'm watching "Kirstie's Homemade Christmas" :D

the virgin scratchcard is still there - just look under "favourites" rather than "scratchcards".
