*sigh* How I would love Kirstie's house  - but who the hell can afford to live like that?! Better sell a few more things on Ebay...
Anyway whilst watching it I managed to switch the dreaded overdraft to Virgin CC, so that feels better :j
I was charged £27 in interest this month, so that will stop at least....
Plus, the man came for the Ebay item and said "keep the change" - so I'm 1p up
Must go and do work now - have a good evening everyone / anyone, mac xx0 -
I missed that programme! Thank goodness for catch up TV!
Glad I'm not the only one who is constantly swapping CC's - Virgin are always very good at giving me deals - such nice people

Hmmmm, we've had a bit of that tonight.
I was awake most of last night - mainly due to DD, but also thinking about catering for my Mum's party. How much food will we need, do I have enough serving platters, where's the cheapest place to buy them, how much will it all cost  etc etc.
My friend suggested going to Costco, but her card has run out. The only other person I know with a card is my Mum  (who is also an expert party organiser)
Then I had a brainwave - DH has his own business and can apply for a card and one for me :j
He was less than enthusiastic and had the face on straight away, saying he might not have time to get the paperwork together (What a business cheque book and utility bill??!)
It's not much to ask, just blo0dy well HELP ME OUT - PLEASE!!!!! It's exhausting0 -
Costco is the best idea, you can get stuff a lot cheaper if you plan it properly.
I think you can get a card for individuals if you are a professional? My OH would grump about that too..............1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j

How have men (yes, i know not all are the same) got the energy to grump about such little things? If they put their grumping energy into just getting on with things life would be so much easier :rolleyes:One step at a time0

I just asked my OH to get DS's uniform ready for tomorrow (the one I washed and ironed) - he looked as if I had asked him to physically sew one together. Sometimes it is easier to do it yourself me thinks!1st debt - Next [STRIKE]£583.32[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]£408.71 [/STRIKE] £0 :j

Oh that has put a smile on my face!
I leave the house at 6.30 every morning and I have to leave the uniform and clothes ready for both kids ready each night .
However I don't mind, as my friend had been away for a few days with work once and when she picked her DD up from nursery, she was wearing jeans and a pyjama top! :rotfl:0 -

We are all mad aren't we? As i'm waiting for this baby to come, i am frantically ironing my son's clothes and putting 'outfits' together on hangers, as well as making sure he has a week's worth of uniform. I've even hung his footie socks on the hanger with his kit! I've put a calendar on the fridge with all the places my LO has to be with times / contact nos.
I've actually found it's easier to tell my 6 yr old where things are than his dadOne step at a time0 -
Poor you Hopeful - you are nesting like CRAZY!!!
Anytime I go on a trip I have to do that too. Outfits for every day (including extras in case of accidents )0
