Mac - how much is it from Comet? You get more cashback from them via Quidco and there is some kind of offer on just now where you can get a code for up to 50% off. I think it's on the discount board.0

i was bought a small tumbler as a house warming 11 years ago (blimey didn't realise it was so long ago!) and though i am obsessive when it comes to leccy i do use it in winter for towels and bedding, as it's would be horendous otherwise. i also sometimes finish stuff off in it when it gets to the stage where it just won't dry any more.
looks like we've been hitting the same web sites via quidco, my best option so far is tesco's - 4% via quidco and double clubcard points and free delivery. still trying to decide if we should wait a little while.0 -
It's £70 more expensive on Comet, plus when I checked Quidco were giving the same 3% for them too....
Anyway, I've ordered it - it's being delivered next Sunday0 -
If you DO put it on the 0%, you ARE increasing your debt and will have to put it in your sig.......if you are happy with that, then order it - if the thought of it makes you shudder, then set it as a savings target and buy it once you have got the cold hard cash.
It all just depends on how you feel about the debt, and how much you want that tumble drier, and only you know the answer because it is a very individual thing!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Bl00dy hell!:mad::mad:
I wish I'd read that before I ordered. I've lived this long without one - it's not like losing my washer - which IS a necessity (as is a dishwasher in this house - sorry LT)
I guess I justified it by the cheap price for the good brand. It will definitely get used, but this is why I'm in debt - impulsive! That is something I need to deal with.
I will update my sig accordingly, then sell everything I own to repay it asap!0 -

True. Thanks
I don't regret it. I have wet washing in a basket as all the radiators and clothes airers are full, plus another 3 loads waiting to go in downstairs (the cellar is the laundry room) and 2 upstairs.
See I've absolved myself already :rolleyes:0 -
I've been thinking about how to best make all this credit work for me.
The highest APR's are the Overdraft and EGG (which I've dealt with today). I'd like to be able to transfer the O/D to a CC to increase the chances of a 0% interest deal and save £34 a month in fees.
This will mean a bit of jiggery-pokery, not to mention transfer fees....- Overdraft - £2450 @ 18.9%
- MBNA -£5892.37 @ 5.9% LOB
- Virgin - £4498.20 @ 0% until March 2010
- Lloyds CC - £2255.70 - 0% until ?? Need to Check this
- Goldfish - £1160.73 @ 6.8% LOB
- Egg - £2325.35 16.9% (transferred today to the Nationwide CC)
- Nationwide £0 0% until 24.12.10 (awaiting balance from EGG £2300 to be transferred - a further £4000ish is available to transfer before 24.2.10
The other thing is, I have to keep up momentum on the extra money making. My BB joyride ended today and it was all too easy to rely on that.
Tonight, as well as some present wrapping, I'm going to get at least 3 things listed on Ebay and tomorrow, I'll find at least 5 more.0
