Hope you have a good evening mac, don't spend too much.
I did have a good evening Miemie and drove to save money - despite my friends threatening to spike my drink so I'd leave my car there!:rotfl:
Anyway, I felt under pressure and ended up having my toenails 'gelled'. They do look nice - purple glitter, and apparently last for a month - but they were (and I'm almost too ashamed to admit this) £20!:eek::eek:

Do you have an account with Foxy? They are doing free bingo every half hour in the 75 ball room called (I think) Lucky Stars. I'm currently hoping my visitors turn up late so I can do the 7pm game as you can't pre-purchase :D

Thanks for that F_F, I don't do Foxy, but will have to check it out ;)

I had purple toenails after the marathon........for free :rotfl:

Just done 3.25 miles - very slow, shamefully slow in fact, but I did something, so it has to be good.....

I'm very proud of myself this morning (apart from the £20 toenails )
It was raining when I got up, so I nearly didn't go for a run, then the thoughts of admitting that I didn't go, on here - made me go :T

I got half way up my road and thought "Hang on a minute. Those raindrops look big. And WHITE."
It was SNOWING!!!!! By the time I got home I looked like a Polar Bear:rotfl:

Must shake a leg and get to the PO to post these invites (yes, I still haven't sent them). Mum and Dad are now safely ensconced in Spain -
"Sitting on the balcony in the Sunshine" - like I needed to hear that this morning....

I've also got my new 0% Nationwide card and need to sort out the balance transfers on that.

Right will catch up later - Have a good day to anyone reading this, Mac xx

It was bitterly cold for my run, but sunny. I was glad that DS had left a beanie hat in the car, though, and I was very happy to make use of that for half an hour or so.

Yay!! Well done on that Hypno - this is the start of great milage to come!:A

Last night at the party, I was chatting to a lady who had ran the Edinburgh Marathon in May and she'd lost 3 toenails - which still haven't grown back! She also said they ran out of water at 6 miles, because someone had nicked all the water the day before!

Marathons are definitely NOT for me - so well done to anyone willing to go through that :T
  • Ooh purple toes I love purple - but nobody sees my toes in the winter :D and they grow so fast :o

Well done on the Christmas shopping I am going to get some scratchcards today so I can finish wrapping my pots of gold this weekend and then on Monday I am going Christmas shopping stage 2 - the rest of the presents for those who live away - have to find my M&S vouchers which are MIA at the moment - in readiness for next weekend when we go to Birmingham.

Stage 3 is the problem immediate family and except for the littlies no idea what to get and big twins birthday on 1st Jan

    I need inspiration

Mine was too. I was blinking the snowflakes out of my eyes, thinking "I need a hat". Last night's eye make-up was all down my face when I got home. Face red, feet freezing and soaked to the core, but I felt great!
Am going for 6 miles tomorrow :D

Yes DT, I thought of you - they are lovely. My girls love them, so might try a DIY version later on them!

How old are the Big Twins going to be? I'll have a think.
My Dad is always the worst to buy for, so this year I'm buying him vouchers for Screwfix. Sounds boring (like someone buying me an iron) but I know he'll be delighted.
For a more mature present, I think you can't go wrong with an M&S food hamper - that's what the Outlaws will be getting this year :D

They are 19 and I have always tried to get them something really special for their birthday as most people give them money as it is so close to Christmas - I was thinking of getting them both cineworld annual passes and making it into a hamper but as OS is in Uni not sure if he gets to Cineworld and as OD is pregnant not sure that she will get the best use out of it either  - want to avoid baby things for her because she has already said she bets thats what people will buy her for Christmas

Have got driving lesson vouchers for ODs partner through Tesco vouchers so he is sorted but still have to sort something for my OH we have agreed on something small - I think I am going to get him a ticket for the car show in Jan in the NEC which I have forgotten the name of for now:rolleyes:(Just remembered Autosport International) so could make that into a car hamper for him - I am mega into hampers this year because I have lots of lovely cellophane.

I have baking hampers for the twiddlies and their other presents are easy peasy they will be pleased with anything:D baby is no problem either.

Next major problem is Mom who is 93 my sisters will send her hampers and she already has subscriptions to magazines etc.

    Suggestions welcome
