Well I've wrapped loads tonight, so feel very pleased with myself :j
I usually leave it to Christmas week or Christmas Eve, so it feels great to be semi-organised. There are a few recycled gifts not to mention plenty of bargain pressies, so very :money:
I still have more to buy though and haven't got OH anything yet - though he said he doesn't want or need anything). I've got a voucher for 20% off everything in Selfridges on Friday, so will see if I can get some bits in there...
And must remember to use Quidco...
Right must go to bed, another early start tomorrow , night x
Go you! I think i might start wrapping the very few bits i've bought, so i can pretend i've been v organisedOH and i have agreed we're not buying for each other apart from a little something for LO to give us like a CD or something. We're getting him a Wii which is kind of for us too so we won't be missing out
Hope you have a good day xOne step at a time0 -

Good Evening All!
Just won £1 on a scratchie and another 25p :j
A nice end to the working week, plus a welcome surprise £10 bonus from BB, so will play that later.
I have been having heated phone calls with the people who provide the childcare vouchers today. They have somehow lost a payment
It's been taken from my salary usual, but not sent to the nursery. The nursery meanwhile just took another £243, which we've not had back and are unlikely to until after Christmas
Everyone I speak says everything is up to date - argghhh!! I think I'm starting to actually prefer speaking to automated services instead
Tonight I am definitely going to finish writing all the invitations (should have done that last night, but wrapped instead) and will post them in the morning.
Little DD has a throat infection which I'm hoping will be better tomorrow so we can go Christmas shopping
(and take advantage of the 20 & 30% off vouchers I have.... )
Would really like to have it finished tomorrow, so will have to do the list tonight.
Not much moneysaving or debtbusting this month I fear....0 -
Some months, it is perfectly good enough if we "stand still" and get through the month without increasing the debt at all.
It is fab when we reduce debt or save up nice sums......but if at the end of the month we can look back and say things are no worse than they were at the beginning of the month, then from time to time, that is absolutely fine!!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Yes, you're right - thanks Hypno.
I'm trying desperately hard not to increase it this month, but with my Mum's 60th, I think that will be unavoidable....
Need to get me finger out this weekend and Ebay like mad!
Little DD has said "I love you Mum" about 20 times since I got home - so I am rich in a way money can't buy - Aww!0 -
Played through £6 of my BB bonus and so far - zilch
At one point I had 5 tickets with 1 number to go. The kids and I were screaming 56! at the laptop - but it didn't hear us!
Just joined the £20k by December 2010 and am SO up for that challenge. Off to sort out kids and dinner, then will be back with a debtbusting plan....0 -
hi i'm the same currently not won anything out of my tenner, still a few games to play though0
-
I shouldn't get frustrated, I've been very lucky on there, but would like another Full House before my time's up!0
