Hello, had a busy day today. In between working I was liaising all day with my solicitor and the bank to get a Redemption figure.

Then this afternoon I got a text from them saying the money had been released and Congratulations on your new home! WhooHoooo!!! :j:j:j

It feels real now, like we can relax a bit and celebrate! We have 2 more viewings arranged for the weekend, so fingers crossed we might get fixed up with tenants. Hopefully we should have moved a good few boxes which should help make it look less cluttered.

I'm going to run for a couple of miles in the morning to stretch my legs. I'm really looking forward to Sunday now, I just need to decide what to wear as the weather looks changeable.

Had breakfast at work so 70p spent, nothing else though. I've decided to treat the new house as a clean slate where new good habits will be formed and the old ones will be left here.
I really want it to be a new chapter.....

By far the best thing that has happened this week is that little DD seems like she is settled for the first time in her life.
Right from the start she has been a handful. She never slept for years, is the most stubborn, headstrong person I've ever met - though absolutely adorable with it, I have to say.
All this I'm sure will aid her in adulthood, but she has been so difficult to parent.

I was really dreading her starting school after all the shenanigans at nursery, but she seems to really LOVE school. We are so delighted, not to mention relieved as she has been a constant source of stress to us both. I don't mean that to sound as if she's the black sheep, as she's a big personality and we love her every bit as her sister, but it does feel like a very big and positive turning point in our family.

So, it is fitting that the house move and MG's spark of inspiration have happened at this time too.

It's at happy times like this, when all the planets are aligned and all is well with my World - that I expect something to go wrong or something horrible to happen.
This time, I'm not going to think like that. PMA all the way :)

8 days to payday - then down with the debt!

Yes, good job, as otherwise it would have been boarding school. Or Borstal

Hope the move goes well. It's good to hear youngest DD is enjoying school and settling well.

    Thanks Gill and Se :)

Little DD woke up a few times in the night - after all that! So I haven't been for a run, but it is a lovely morning here - the Autumn Sun is shining and DD1 has even commented on how beautiful it is!!!

So today, I'm going to take the girls to school, then clear the decks. We're dismantling the dining table and then will pile up the boxes in there ready to move them tomorrow.
We're not actually moving out until next Thursday but we're going to try and move as much as we can so we don't have to pay for more than the 6 hours minimum charge for the removals firm.

The other thing I have to do is look for another broadband provider. At the moment we're with Virgin, but DH thinks we should switch to BT for convenience.
I have been conditioned by MSE, so will only take the easy option if it's also the cheapest.

Right off to shower and get the girls ready.

Have a good day to all reading :)
