TBH I'm a rather proud of my 40 year old self. I can run better/ further now than when I was at school!
Also, I've raised £200 so far for Kidney Research UK and am really pleased to be doing the race for them - it's a good feeling.
However, I'm am time-wasting here - really need to get on with some work as I have a deadline tomorrow, so will stop procrastinating and go and do an hour's work - back later0 -
And so you should be proud of yourself :TSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Woke up feeling overwhelmed this morning. There is so much to do/think about.
DD is leaving nursery tomorrow and I need to get a present for her main carer and sweets/chocs for everyone else.
I need to pay my birthday money into my bank as I'm running short after paying off b'card
The builders started rendering the porch yesterday and haven't repaired what I asked them to - DH is going to speak to them this morning
I still need to sort insurances
I have a massive deadline today that I'm not ready for - but need to nip to town at lunch - don't have time but have to
Need to book vans for removals - DIY of course
Argghh and loads more that I can't think of right now.....
I was up late working out my PSB figure from Memorygirl's Mr Big. I'm going to write it on bright pink post-it's and dot it around my life! I'm very excited about it - think it could be the start of something.....
Hope you have a better day than me0 -
Mac you always work well under pressure whether you like to or not so you will be fine. Try not to look at the bigger picture and look at what you can achieve today.0
-
So....no more nursery fees to fine - that must make a good difference to your outgoings!!
Have a good day, and I am sure that you will get everything on your list done. Don't panic xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
I read your post this morning at work KM and felt much better thanks :kisses3:
I was thinking about ways to reduce my stress and although I do work well under pressure, I could do with learning how to manage the stress.... Hopefully, it's only temporary then once we've moved I'll be the model of buddist like calm
My Flylady email today was all about the damage that procrastinating can do to our health by creating a surge of adrenalin (:o) She talked about not spending too much time on the computer, doing jobs straight away and keeping on top of the morning and evening routines.
I'm going to carry on with this and weave in some of MG's Mr Big theories to see if that sets me on the right path.
And yes Hypno - NO MORE NURSERY FEES!!!!!!!!! :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j
Well, DH sorted the builders and it's all finished. They did a great job and cleaned up beautifully so we are very pleased!
Bought present - more than I wanted to spend, but still within budget so that's another job off the list.
My meeting went well, but there is still lots of work to do
We have 4 viewings booked starting tomorrow! - so a very busy evening ahead  The EA are also featuring our house in the paper tomorrow evening - free of charge as they needed to fill the space :money:
If only I could magic up a bonus/lottery win to pay off some debts this could be a perfect day0 -
Good luck with those viewings, and I agree with the fact that procrastination creats more adrenaline bursts etc......I suffer from exactly the same affliction, as you are well aware
Fingers crossed for a good bonus or payrise or whatever for you - it would be perfect timing right now would it not!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Oh it most certainly would!
I was full of gusto this morning, but my boss was not in so I still don't have a decision  Any day now hopefully....0 -

Mmmm now this I should take heed of  however, unlike you, I don't even open the emailsBUT I always tell myself I'll sit and read that flylady email after
:o So I am obviously the ultimate procrastinator!! AND I spend TOO MUCH time on the computer
I fear there is no hope for me0 -
Oh yes KM, my light is still on isn't it? Even though I have an attic to plaster and redecorate before I watch MAD MEN at 10pm :rotfl:
Mmmmm mmmm that is my highlight of the week. A brand new series starts this evening and I can't wait to see the dashing Don Draper once again. For anyone who has not see it I highly recommend it.
But DO open the emails KM, she is one inspiring lady0
