Right, new teacher has been and delivered the monogrammed uniform so now little DD is geared up for school!

We've got another potential tenant coming to view tomorrow so that's 5 in total - surely one of them will want it and be suitable?

Rang the solicitors; they have sent paperwork out for us to sign yesterday - so knowing them it will have been sent second class  fingers crossed we'll get it tomorrow, then we can hand deliver it in time for Monday morning. She reckons we are still on for Friday 17th :j but obviously it all works on the "how long is a piece of string" adage.....

House is spick and span, so just debating whether to quickly do ironing or pop to B&Q to buy self-leveling concrete or measure carpet and go and book that....will check bank account instead and do online sublet application.

Been into town to pay my birthday money into bank. Been a bit overzealous paying off barclaycard in full this month. I've now got only £17 to last until the 23rd

There have been extra costs associated with moving, so it has all caught up with me. Think I may have to have a mini-Ebay mission this week.....pity everything is packed up.
I really MUST learn how to juggle my money and plan properly :wall:

Took DD to the ELC for a play. They have lots of offers on and I could have bought some things for Christmas but couldn't grrrrr. Bit cross with myself really, as I'm getting my hair cut and coloured tomorrow and will have to use a CC for the first time in a looooooooong time :( It really can't wait, so is a necessary expense even though it sounds frivolous.

Oh well, the payrise might kick in this month so that will help.

Whoop whoop! Postman's just delivered the paperwork to sign (FIRST CLASS written like this on the envelope - that shut me up )

We need to sign in front of a witness so will ask my Mum and deliver them in the morning.

Right first viewer is due in a minute - feel a bit nervous :o Wish me luck!

I don't think it is advisable to sign with a member of your immediate family as a witness - it could invalidate it so check out first!

I'm right there with you on the meagre budget until payday.....which for me is also 23rd.....

......yet I just had my eyebrows threaded.......I just don't learn :o

Macgirl - I've always used independent witnesses too. We've always hand delivered the signed documents too, it's surprising how it speeds things up, and at least you're sure it's arrived. Anything that can speed solicitors us is a bonus.

You've set me off Hypno, I'm just about to google to see if I can find somewhere to sort mine out. Won't have time until next week though, that's if I can find somewhere, and hopefully somewhere that speaks English!!

Well tried googling various variations, when it includes a tattoo parlour in the results combined with not speaking the language it seems too risky, I wonder what the result would be. So now added on the action list for when at home.

:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: And you're usually so sensible!

Thanks for the head's up about the witness - never thought of that. Will see a friend at school and see if he can do it.

Well, 2 viewings and it sounds like they both want the house! :T

Not sure about the first one moneywise, plus he wants to put a 10ft trampoline in our 10ft garden! Er.....no!

Second were 3 young lads - seemed very decent but have a dog - which is on our list of no-no's. Despite not really being a dog lover, I'd be happy to let them have it, but we'll see what the other 3 are like tomorrow. Hopefully we'll have this wrapped up next week :j

Now to wake DD who is having a little nap on the sofa. Bless, that'll be the last time she'll be doing THAT on a Friday :D
