    Certainly IMD (or should I say "In YOUR Dreams" :rolleyes::D), but I'm VERY expensive! :rotfl:

    Have just polished off my second glass of vino (the bar opens early on a Friday in Bleak House ;)). Didn't manage to get everything done, but a friend has just called over and I didn't feel ashamed - so that is the litmus test and the house passed - hurrah! :T

    Took the kids to the local garden centre after school, at little DD's request. She loves glitter and sparkle and they have a fantastic Christmas display - complete with singing tree :rolleyes:

    They had some lovely ornamental Victorian fireplaces that you could buy named minature stockings to hang from the mantel - so sweet!
    I very nearly bought one - for £5.50 and realised that, that is the type of tat I fritter money away on! :eek:

    Thanks LT, but it would take more than vino! My own house looks like we've been burgled - every day. It's the bane of my life and I'm trying to work through it slowly...

    Talking of which OH, is spending another half day in his attic office to clear it ready for transformation into the kid's bedroom. I'd really like it to be done before Christmas, but he doesn't share my sense of urgency :rolleyes:

    Well, This morning I've been for a run :T AND done my 20 mins of toning :T:T:T (though again, there's a loooong way to go until I'm actually toned :rotfl:)
    • 3 x 10 reps of tricep dips - ouch
    • 50 x stomach crunches - though need to do several 1000 a day!
    • 50 x side crunches (legs in the air and reach to each side - don't know the technical term)
    • 3 x10 side leg raisers (Little DD was putting me off "What are you doing Mummy?")
    • 3x 10 (box) Press-ups - my arms couldn't carry my body weight for a full press-up :o
    • 2 x 30 seconds of The Plank - killer

    So I'm happy with that, just need to keep at it. Decided I will need to join a running club after Christmas to be more consistent and up the milage.

    Also in MSE news, won 35p on the scratchies and £10 on bingo :j
    Yippee - the drought is over.
    Off in the shower - Hope you all have a good day, Mac xx

    Well done on the exercises - I have done, precisely, nothing.........hmmm.....:o

    And my house looks like we have been burgled too.......so I completely empathise on that one!!

    Good Luck with bingo - Here's some magic pixie dust (or whatever it is they go on about)

    ~~~~~******~~~£$£$£$£$£****@@@***££££$$$$$****
    Hope that helps! :rotfl:
    Got home from ballet (DD - not me, that would be funny) to find the shower is broken, it's the actual shower, so we need to replace it. That's at least £100 to fix it and something we can't be without, so needs to be spent. :mad: I've been hunting around online, but so far have not found any bargains, will have to keep looking.
    Forgot to mention this morning, DD came out of school yesterday with news that she is to be Mary in the school nativity! I'm so proud of her, but also worried, because she gets terrible stage fright....:o
    Right, off to do boring chores - catch you later :)
    Hey - Welcome DT, nice to see you! :hello:
    I came on here for a rant, but that has cheered me up no end. :A
    Glad you liked the jacket - a woman of impeccable taste! I did look for it in Oxford St this week, but thankfully, they'd sold out - Phew!
