Thanks all. Trip was good but tiring. I've not been to Berlin in years, but it is a great city with friendly people and a laid back vibe. It was also fun watching Germany get beat on home turf :D
I got back late last night after the motorway closed and I had to go over hill and dale to get home

Anyway, I came home with £9.25 of the week's envelope allowance - so am very pleased with that! I have £20 for next week - but £15 of that will be a deposit for my work's Christmas Do.
I even managed to resist the cosmetic special offers in duty free :A I truly am a reformed character!

Also - 30 day Shred has arrived  _pale_

    Good morning

Went for a 5k this morning and ran at race pace (well, as fast as poss), then came home and tried out one of my energy gels in prep for tomorrow.
It certainly did the trick as I got a surge of energy :j

After nipping to the paper shop, I decided to get the shears out and trim the front hedge, then weeded and swept the garden and path.
The bay window needed a clean, so I got the ladders out and washed that - the other windows are being replaced on Wednesday, so I didn't bother with those.

Last night's mini manicure is ruined - as I scrubbed all the paintwork and front door and frame, but I'll give my nails a quick repaint after my shower.

So a good start to the day - will do Day 1 of the Shred when the kids are in bed tonight.

£1.90 spent so far today, and hopefully nothing else from personal spends. We have a close friend's daughter's birthday party tomorrow, so a present from joint spends will need to be bought, plus I want to buy a small tin of white gloss to refresh a few windowsills and the stairs handrail. (Think I'll have to invest in a few more of those energy gels - I'm buzzing!)

Have a good day to anyone reading :)

Sorry Gill - don't mean to! I always go out early - tomorrow I'm aiming for 9 miles :o

    Well, high spends today:

    £37.50 - swimming lessons
    £30 - ballet lessons
    £3.50 - swimming certificate

I had planned to go into town to buy the birthday present and nip to B&Q to buy some gloss, but a friend mentioned that the carnival is on - so I've given it a wide berth....

Might just loll about on the sofa for half an hour then do some decluttering later.

Hope it's sunny where you are :)

    Good morning....

Did day one of Shred last night and have to say I enjoyed it! :j I like that it's a no-nonsense 20 minutes and although she's tough - she's very motivating.
Far more preferable to an hour of Davina gurning and japing about. Another few DVDs for Amazon

A busy day planned today. I need to sort everywhere in prep for the windows being fitted on Wednesday. That will include a few trips to the tip with garden waste that I cleared on Friday and dismantling my greenhouse shelving, to clear the decking.

Our bedroom - which is the family dumping ground - will be my biggest challenge, but I'll feel better when it's done.
Then this afternoon, we have our's friend's DD's party, then back to their house.

Before all that of course, I'm going for a run - once my breakfast has gone down. I mapped the route last night and it's 9.91 miles :o
So, I have to eat breakfast which I don't normally before running and carry a drink - which I don't either but need to start getting used to longer runs.

Right, will catch up later. Have a good day all :)

I couldn't stand the Davina DVD's either :o Got to find them out to pass them on.
