    Thanks DT!

There are a couple more bids, so I'll live in hope.
I've just had to buy 4 new tyres = £260!!! So in with one hand and out with the other.....

I've also made an appt to view the lovely house I spied a couple of weeks ago. I'm also trying to view another which is well within budget (the first is well outside ), then we can compare and decide on what to do.

    Enjoy the afternoon sunshine! :j

Whoopee! The car has sold :j That is only a small celebration though as the winning bidder only has only transaction/feedback, so until the money is in the bank - I'm not counting my chickens

Just been out for a lovely meal with friends and 8 kids  (all 6 and under) I just drank wine to numb the pain!

Frugal living so far = 0

Thinking about you tomorrow IMD - I don't envy you with the weather forecast :o

Good luck with payment for the car, and ouch to the tyres!

My bonus is not due for another month.....then I will be below £13k.....seems almost impossible when I think where we were three or four years ago! I look forward to being sub 10k.....now that will really feel as though the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched on!

    Have a good evening x

That must be such a huge relief. I'm sure you thought you would never get there, but you have worked so hard you deserve it. It will be one helluva party!

Well done on the car, I know what you mean about the feedback thing, but new users have to start somewhere.

Yes Gill, that was my thinking when I listed it. I've heard all the stories of scammers when car buying but like you said, decided that everyone has to start somewhere....
Luckily, the car will be despatched by my Dad and brother, so it should be quite safe.

I can't sleep as our neighbours are playing Take That and singing along loudly  so after doing my usual, of reading in the bathroom in an attempt not to come downstairs, I had to give in.
Earlier in the evening - (10pm) it sounded like one of them was throwing a tennis ball against the bedroom wall!!!
This has made me all the more determined to move - and the listed semi is looking very unlikely now. Watch out rubber chicken - here I come!

Good Morning. Feel like I've got a newborn baby - sooooooo tired :(

Most upset that I haven't been for my run. I can't go now. We have little DD's 4th Birthday party at 12.30 with friends coming round here afterwards. Before that I have to tidy up again, finish the ironing and of course view the lovely house!!! :D

10ps on scratches and a £10 bid on Ebay with 5 days to go. Must keep listing and add to the windows fund.

Have a good day all :)
