Hi,
I'm new to MSE and have read a few of these threads to motivate myself.
Don't knock yourself MG, you have been through hell and back with PND (i'm currently off with Dep myself - terrified i'm going to get sacked as this is the first absence I have had off since I began working).
Just hit it head on.

Hi Needhelpsaving and Welcome to the boards!
Thankfully that episode of my life is over now, but I wouldn't wish it on anyone. Hope you're feeling better soon
This week keeps getting better and better!!
** Workwise things are great - yippee.
** I'm trimming money off budgets hither and thither.
** Extra cash is trickling in from bingo and Ebay - hurrah! :j
Someone has offered me £130 for my phone on Ebay. I did "sell" it for £160 last week, but the buyer immediately de-registered . So now I don't know whether to hold out for a better offer. I guess a bird in the hand is worth 2 in the bush - so think I'll accept....
I am reading "Why am I so Disorganised" (I do love a bit of self-help!) and especially like the "Envisioning" technique. It worked a treat last night on bingo.
I was staring at the screen chanting the number I needed over and over, whilst imagining it red :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Think I screamed when it did turn red! - Though tried it again this morning to no avail - ah well, can't win 'em all :D
One thing I need to do is update my sig (with honesty).....
Off to sort kids out - catch you all later...0 -
I'm v. tired this morning.
Was up until after Midnight writing party invitations. We're throwing a surprise party for my Mum at Christmas, as she's celebrating a big birthday.
So far I've done most of the organising (and spending ), so I need to set up a spreadsheet so my generosity doesn't get out of control and I end up paying for it all....
No wins on the bingo last night, but £10.22 hit my account this morning and won 20p on the scratchies.
I need to try my "Envisioning" on the house, as it's looking like we've been burgled.
Off to work now, a busy day ahead....Have a good one if you're reading this, Mac x0 -

Hi IMD and thanks miemie
Just worked out that I have won £281.22 in the last month on free scratchcards and bingo. Plus I should see the same again - if not a bit more on Ebay - which is great!:j
However, I'm going to have to keep up this level of extra money making every month if I'm to be debt free by this time next year.
I really want that so badly. I do not want to go into another New Year in debt, but I've no idea how I can sustain that level of extra cash.
I've pretty much sold everything of any real worth.
The downside is that some of this extra is going on Christmas and Mum's party. But EVERY month there are good reasons why money has to be spent. I need my car as I commute a fair distance everyday to work, so that inevitably costs...
The grocery budget has been shaved considerably, but I guess I need to make more savings there. (Plus sequinned leggings will have to be avoided )
I feel like I am trying really hard but the debt is static (or worse).
No matter what - I will NEVER be in this position again - or is that akin to saying "I'm never drinking again" the day of the hangover from hell?
*sigh* Off to play bingo :D0 -
I have done my first deposit of £20 on Bingo Britain. Any idea how long it takes for the bonus to arrive?0

Try logging out then back in again, if the £5 bonus shows, withdraw your cash.
Might have to wait til tomorrow - can't quite remember. Good Luck F_F!0 -
