Well one transaction ended up costing ME, but apart from that, a good days effort towards the debt :D
Hope you're feeling ok? Not long now!

Tell me about it! I don't know where the time's gone. I do feel really well. Just a little more tired in the evening but nothing major. I'm sure i usually feel tired at night anyway, i just have an excuse not to do anything now :rotfl:

Having spent all my BB bonus on one unsuccessful game this morning, I decided to have a punt with my scratchcard winnings on the other sites.

Wagered a total of £1.70 and won big fat NOTHING
Drat and double drat! Off to open the wine...
  • You sound like you're doing really well Macgirl :) Hope your ebay buyer is feeling generous. Well done on the bingo wins, and commisserations for losses, I try and make sure I play some of my scratchy wins so that they don't grump at me taking their free money. It's worked so far, but for how long?? lol!

    Thanks Homegrown :)
Sadly no, the buyer is not going to cough up - you win some you lose some
As for the bingo. I also do that, following the advice on the bingo thread. I think it will always work - hope you get some wins! :D
  • That's a shame about the buyer, but I guess we live and learn. I once bought something for about £3.00 inc postage (I was the only bidder) and I felt awful that the postage then came to around £3 on it's own so the seller must have lost out what with all the fees as well. So since it was just what I was after I sent her some more money by paypal and hopefully we were both happy.

good luck to you too with the bingo - I won £2 on a slots thingy this morning. I don't play them very often and normally I lose, but was happy to win today. Not long till payout!

    That's a nice thing to do Homegrown.:A
I was appealing to her better nature, but I understand if she can't afford. At least they've gone to a good home....

Played some free bingo this morning but nothing to show for it. Has my luck ran out? I was on quite a winning streak, so can't complain.

Nothing to report moneywise today. I'm having my hair cut and coloured. This is the only thing I won't give up. I dyed it myself for years, but end up with overlap, so it looks like horizontal stripes around my head :rotfl:

The best part is 2 whole hours to myself, reading gossip mags and drinking coffee - bliss! Then I have a cheque for a refund on a tax disc for £36 to pay in and that's about it.

Got up to go for a run but got sidetracked writing invitations. Then mini DD got up and as OH is in bed, I'd better leave it - procrastinating Moi?! Mmmm
Will go for a run this afternoon - after dark

Good morning, Mac! Enjoy the hairdressers. I went the other week for the 1st time in ages and it was heavenly. Coffee, magazines (which i no longer buy myself) and a good 'ol gossip - can't beat it

Exactly! It was super indulgence, Vanity Fair, Health & Fitness, OK etc etc and as many hair products as they could get on my hair!
I certainly got my money's worth :money:
It's not cheap, but I won't be getting it cut til about Feb now, so that's how I justify it :o

I parked free in Sainsbury's and got a large bottle of Baileys for £10. I love a tipple of that at Christmas - so, bargain!

Paid in my cheque, which was actually £31.66, but every little helps.
Hope everyone's having a good day.

    Good Morning

Just as I was getting really hacked off not winning on bingo - I won £5 this morning :j Hurrah!!

I'm packaging up my pram this morning ready to have it collected - it feels a bit sad - like I'm selling one of my children :( But we're not having any more (and it takes up a hell of a lot of room ) so it's better that someone can make good use of it. I requested a withdrawal from Paypal last night for £190, so will PAD that when it lands in my account.

Today I will divide and freeze some meat and plan meals for the week.
Big job is clearing the attic bedroom, so plenty of trips to the tip for me!

We were asked yesterday if we'd like to go skiing in the NY with some friends. It would be nice, but not this year.
I'm too focused on debt repayment and starting the MFiT challenge.

10 days to payday and counting....
Have a good day if you're reading this :)
