No miemie! It certainly wasn't you, you just made me think :)
I like - and share - your values.
I have rich friends and not so rich friends, though I'm friends with them for who they are, not what they have. I've realised that if I feel inadequate because I don't have what they have - then that's my problem not theirs.

Anyway, hope you enjoyed your firework party and it stayed dry!
    • I Still haven't started the ironing
    • Still need to wrap the pressies and my Ebay parcel
    • Need to list a couple more things on Ebay
    • Need to look out for another bingo website with free bonuses - as have won zilch today

Just been to supermarket and spent £30, which used some of the money left over from last night, still have about £15 left, as it was cheaper than we expected :T
Right, better crack on - catch you later
  • Hi macgirl, I'm a lurker on DFW diaries (normally only give dental advice on health and beauty!). Anyway, love your diary. Today I'm desperately trying to find stuff to ebay but have sold almost everything we have! Anyway, good luck.

    Thanks coldstreamalways!
I often think I'm talking to myself - so it's nice to know someone's watching!

Hi Mac, there are always loads of people lurking ;) The problem with diarys are they touch so many people you dont know about. When I was a newbie and the diarys started being posted I read them all and took something from them all... yet I never posted. Its the same now for me I read many yet only post on a few. If the writer seems to be on track and isnt in need of advice then i just read and thank...

Please dont feel no one is reading because diarys are a great source for newbies as well as us old'uns :rotfl:

Aw thanks PaP - you're a Star! :A and Greenmantle

Yes, I was the same, I was an avid reader of all the diaries, as I said in my first post - right back to the very first one. I've seen many become debt free and laughed and cried along the way.

My only regret is that I didn't post earlier, then I would probably be one of them now!

Thanks for your support guys - it's very much appreciated :D

Yes, I won £100 on there last week! :j
I'm just trying to have another lined up for when my £5 a day bonus ends.
I played my £5 today and won nothing - but won £5 yesterday.

It's been quite lucrative, so I'm very grateful to hypno, DT et al for the top tip! :T:A:T

Just polished off a lovely roast dinner and waiting for it to settle so I can tuck into my apple crumble. It's the first time I've made it so it looks like actual crumble, rather than just flour on top of apple :rotfl:

Ooh, roast dinner yum! We are having chicken nuggets and baked potatoes - hardly the same! Shame :rotfl:

Well Alas - Woe is me....
The other Euro millions ticket has been claimed - so we have not won :(

Shame, because all day I was divvying up the spoils (after looking at suitable abodes on Millionaires Row of course:D).
I'd make sure all my family and friends were sorted and give some to charity. My charity of choice would have to be DFW Diaries - it would make many people's lives a lot easier.
There is a truly great bunch of people on here, which always warms my heart...However, don't bother getting out the begging letters just yet - I might change my mind when the numbers do come up! :rotfl:

Off to try my luck with BB now I've deposited to get the bonus - hope they'll let me withdraw straight away!
