Well haven't done much to report moneywise today.
Work has been good, after being really tough for the last 12 months, the recession seems to be waning and things are getting better! :j

Think my luck has dried up on the bingo, though still got some bonus left to play so will head over there shortly.

Went to DD's parent's evening earlier. She is very studious and quite bright and always gets little certificates for being kind and helpful. So it was a surprise when the teacher said she's slow with her work and a bit bossy. Don't know where she gets that from :rolleyes: :o:o

I came home feeling a bit down. It's such a responsibility to steer them on exactly the right path...
DH and I were discussing what to do and he said, "She's confident, happy, clever, likes school, knows how to have a laugh and she's 5. Let's just leave her to be herself and if the teacher doesn't like it - tough!"

Hmmmm, I know he's right. So I spoke to her and told to stop being bossy and work faster :rotfl:

Woke up early as usual, but I have a meeting in town this morning, so don't need to leave at the crack of dawn.
I've made a veggie chilli for tonight, as DD has a French Lesson.
So we're always back late, with me usually making dinner with my coat still on :rolleyes:, so it's good to feel a bit more organised :A

Received £3.80 this morning from Ebay. It's something I had made myself and was going to give to charity, but I'm so glad I didn't.
60p from the scratchies too - Every little helps! :T
