Yep, inside out all the way!

I've got a bid on Ebay, so should see at least £5 there after fees. £4.90 from Quidco and £2.72 from Amazon. Trickles of cash in, but still cash in. Must try harder though. Now the evenings are lighter I will be doing more to make money and have gathered enough to do a carboot sale. Just need to find one and a willing partner in crime/grime :D

Good Morning! It's a beautiful Sunny day here and feels good to be alive :j

Just completed 45mins of exercise DVDs so feeling good after eating more than one little cake yesterday :o

I was awake half the night worrying; I've seen a few cracks appearing (but the house is Victorian), but we've dug out the cellar (but there's now an RSJ), but we still haven't boarded it in fire board, we have the tumble dryer down there what if it catches fire? we still haven't put up the smoke alarms, plus my feet keep swelling up slightly and my hands feel puffy - maybe it's diabetes from all the cakes etc etc etc :rotfl:

I managed to get back to sleep and was relieved to see the morning. The middle of the night is not a good place for all those shenanigans....

Plan for today is to sort out my old car - it's at my Dad's works premises and he's been on holiday. Then I want to paint the living room window sill.

I spoke to Dh about the extra borrowing, but I'd already decided not to. I just doesn't sit right with me, so we'll have to find the money elsewhere.

Hope you have a good day :)

Right - set yourself a challenge........Have a "windows pot" and use it as the focus of your MSE money - car boots, ebay etc, whatever you get in, goes straight into the pot - choose one like Egg savings that you can get to if you really NEED it, but as it takes 2 or 3 days to get to your current account, you aren't tempted in the same way to "borrow" it for bread, milk, or a handbag....

You will be surprised at how quickly you can build up that pot, and the more that goes in it, the more motivating it can be. And because it if for "joint" things rather than "your" debt, there is no reason why OH can't do a car boot or two as well.....

And get your head round Matched betting - you can earn a good amount in the early days from that......start reading, and get OH to read too. Several of the bookies are "partner friendly" so you can both make use of the offers which is just too good to turn down!

    Thanks!!!

I think DH is definitely one for matched betting, his brain is wired up for that - mine is not. I AM going to do a carboot sale though and will find one today and commit to that next weekend.

Thanks again for the motivation - I'm all fired up now! :T

    Thanks 40SM :)

    I'm a morning person, so if I don't exercise first thing - then I won't at all.
I can feel my waist for the first time in years, so that is keeping me motivated. But my thighs feel like they are bulking abit from running - maybe not, but I need to add some swimming or yoga to stretch out a bit.

I'm really trying to keep it going, which is easy when I'm on holiday, but will be more difficult next week when I'm back at work...

Although I sort of resent cleaning etc when I've taken holiday, it is nice to have everything clean and tidy(ish) and to be in control of the house.

Right off to do some sorting and going to Mum's for lunch (taking DD's bike for some practise - so far she's protested, but today we are going to have a go!)

Nothing wrong with not rushing - it's good for you!

I've got this great little book called The Joy of Laziness. It's all about conserving life energy and promotes (some) laziness saying marathon running or any extreme exercise is not healthy! (written by 2 ex-long distance runners)
